They each have a diameter of about 3.75 inches and have a height of about 15/16 inches. There is also one larger size coaster with the same matching design. It has a diameter of about 5.5 inches and has a heigh of about 1 1/8 inches. The coasters have some spotting and tarnish in a few stops that could benefit from a good cleaning/ polishing. Footed solid Sterling Silver salt shaker George II pattern by Whiting marked Sterling. Mark says Reproduction Sterling by Frank W. Whiting& Company. Then it has a W in a circle, George II 808. It is sterling and is not weighted. The weight of the piece is 55.4 grams. It is almost 5 inches tall and it is about 2.5" wide at the base and at the top about 1" No dings or sratches. Lovely and unusual old Whiting Gladstone pattern sauce ladle. Patented on April 12, 1892(according to the back of the handle) The first set of pictures more accurately shows the ladle. I used a flash for the 2nd pictures and I think flash makes silver look weird. It does show some of the detail more clearly though. GORHAM STERLING BABY CUP Here is a lovely sterling baby cup by Gorham. It has"BABY" engraved on the front. It is marked"GORHAM STERLING 3307" It has a"W" in a circle and a lion. The cup also has what looks like a foot with a wing on it. I was told this indicates the year 1925. I can lightly see the numbers A663with magnifying glass. The cup weighs 52.2 grams and appears to have a gold wash on the inside. It measures about 2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches across not including the handle. LOUIS XV - WHITING 2 ALL STERLING BUTTER SPREADERS
These beautiful sterling butter spreaders were made by Whiting in the Louis XV pattern and are in good ESTATE condition with a crisp pattern. The blades have been buffed and polished and the handles show light wear due to age and normal use. One of the blades is slightly bent and is pictured. But it is so minor that it is hard to see. The spreaders measure 5 1/4" in length and are MONOGRAMMED with an R on the front of the handle. Each one is marked STERLING PAT.1891 on the handle along with the Whiting lion hallmark. You can see it in the 2nd picture on the right under the snap button and on the last picture as well. Really nice purse, from other listings they said that it's from the era of the 1920's. I got it at an estate sale. It has some Patina finish on it, you can see the green, and the company is still around today so that means they've done something right.

Description At auction is a sterling handled nail file in the lovely"Louis XV" pattern by Gorham Whiting. Introduced in 1891. Louis XV" is a superior pattern with scrollwork on both sides of the handle from top to bottom. This 5 1/2" nail file has a file end made of steel and has a curved tip so that it would also be used as a cuticle tool. The piece is marked with the company hallmark. Sterling, and the patent year. It is in very good condition with very minor indents, no wear on the pattern, the file is not discolored or broken. The tip of the tip is slightly discolored. Whiting Mfg Co NY Bread Tray This very elegant and VERY OLD hand wrought bread tray was made by Whiting Mfg Co New York and is marked 7066 11 in with the Whiting marks as seen on my picture. There is also a very faded Whiting mark with the lion well below the other marks which I show a picture of as well. It measures 11 x 6 1/2" and the blown out flowers I believe are peonies with connecting leaves encircling the entire piece. It weighs 6.37 troy ounces. This tray is well over 100 years old and shows expert workmanship and details- it was a wedding gift in the early 1900's. Please note that there are a couple of dings in the bottom and some scratches which I think might be polished out by a professional.
