1959 Pflueger Medalist 1495 Fly Reel Diamolite Line Guard ca.1930's Extra Spool
For consideration. A vintage(1959) used Pflueger 1495 Medalist R.H. retrieve fly reel with rectangular Diamolite Line Guard, adjustable drag, dual click, and"Made in Akron O USA" stamped on reel body. Mechanically sound but with tackle box rash in original paint including scrapes, rubs, dings. and"wear" spots, especially on body edges. I've used Medalist reels for 55-years and this one still has a lot of life left in it. Included is a spare spool, most likely from the late 1930's, with an amber colored plastic handle and an aluminum spool latch cover. Both spools have old fly lines on them that in my opinion are in poor condition and probably not usable except for display purposes. Being offered"as is. Thanks for looking.

Metal spool cap, butterscotch knob, and a metal ratchet plate with 4 indents on the top and 16 on the bottom(see last photo) Reel has been repainted and the spool cap looks like someone tried to polish it with a dremel tool. This is a right hand wind reel with a permanent click. It has a circular Diamolite line guide, sculpured pillars, a metal latch cover and an amber Pyralin crank handle. Vintage Hardy St.George 3 3/4" Silver Line Guard RHW Salmon Fly Reel
Offered for sale is a Vintage Hardy St. GEORGE 3 3/4" Salmon/Steelhead Fly Reel. A SILVERED LINE GUARD, a rim tension adjustment knob, set for RHW in very good vintage condition. This reel is at least 80+ years young. It is signed on the reverse with the maker's name, style and size and the Hardy Patent number 658472. The grooved brass foot is a bit short to accommodate modern reel seats. The reel seat is mounted on the frame with two brass screws. The reel has the classic perforated spool, the two screw latch hub or spool mount, the brass rim tension adjustment knob, a strong click drag, brass rivets on the back plate and has a clean smooth click action and presents in spot on shape. This reel is quite rare especially in this condition. It maintains it's original gray gun metal finish. The reel might enjoy a cleaning. An oil ... morebath and a good home. The reel being in fine honest original condition. With no damage or cracks, running very free, retaining it's original patina. Rare Hardy Perfect 3 3/8" Silver/Agate Line Guard Trout Fly Reel
Offered for sale is a vintage Hardy Perfect Fly Reel. 3 3/8" in diameter, with a NICKEL SILVERED/GRAY AGATE LINE GUARD, set for Right Hand Wind, a smooth alloy foot, with a perforated spool, a Brass Rim Tension Adjustment Knob, an ebonite crank handle in absolutely spactular condition, with only minor scratches and retaining almost all of it's gun gray lacquered finish. The reel appears to very sparingly used. It is a great trout or light salmon fly reel and has been well cared for. The reel would accommodate a 4-7 weight fly line plus backing.
