Up for bid is a very nice vintage single action fly fishing reel from Ocean City. Model No. 306 and Made In Philadelphia USA. Reel is made of aluminum and is approximately 3 3/8" Diameter and has a Line Guide and no clicker. I sell my reels in the condition I find them. I do try to clean them up a bit. But are not polished or oiled by me. I check for external cracks, or missing details such as screws and not any problems that I find This is in very nice"used" shape. Though not abused, but does show some paint wear. All functions work very smooth, crisp and clean!

This semi-automatic fly reel is in good condition. Missing one of the white plastic winding knobs. The spring activated by the finger lever is in working order. It appears that this reel was designed for manual retrieve with the spring loaded lever to help keep a tight line. The body is a bronze plastic. The spool is loaded with a useable sinking fly line of unknown weight, no backing. An interesting design.

Classic Ocean City No.76D Fly Fishing Reel By True Temper, Floating Fly Line
This reel good quality reel is in very good plus condition. One light rub on the rim of the tail plate. The reel is set for left hand retrieve, but the line guide can be moved to allow for right hand retrieve. There is a strong on/off click button on the tail plate, a friction drag knob on the head plate. The aluminum frame has a black finish. The spool is natural aluminum. The bottom of the foot is stamped"MADE IN U.S.A. Diameter of the reel is 3" width of spool 9/16" This reel is loaded with a yellow floating line of unknown weight in very good fishable condition.

Ocean City 76 Plymouth Fly Reel 60 Yards Philadelphia
Up for consideration is a Ocean City No. 76 Fly Reel in the original box with all of the Operating Instructions& Parts List for the No. 76. 35, and 36. The reel is made by the Ocean City Mfg. Co. Philadelphia, PA. Also included is the original receipt from the American Auto Stores dated 2/27/1952 for $4.29. Also include are spare parts ordered from True Temper on March 28, 1966 with original invoice. One problem, the Fly Reel is broken around the outer edge of the casting. I will list this as a parts reel sold as is in the original box with all of the papers and spare parts. Replace the reel with your good No. 76 and you have a nice collectible with the original box and papers.

Here for bidding is an exceptionally nice vintage Ocean City/ True Temper No. 76 Plymouth Fly Reel. This reel is so clean I think it may possibly be a NOS item. It appears to have never had line on it. The original box however has some flaws as seen in the pictures. There is a parts list included. Which was in the box with the reel. I do not know the age of this old reel but the box has an address of PHILA. 34 PA. U.S.A. which I believe puts the reel back a few years. Look at the pictures as part of the description.
