2 Vintage Precision MARTIN fishing reels by Martin made in USA. Model No 60& 61. They both appear to be in working condition. Snap rings and gear controls are freely moving. Reel#61 has some slight damage to the frame as seen in photo, this does not hinder the working condition. These are Great bass and trout reels. Most vintage items I sell are from my dads collection. I’m attempting to liquidate his items. I am not an expert on reels but I try and give the best description of his items. Hard items to find for a collection. See photos for condition. Vintage MARTIN No. 61 Precision Fly Reel 1970 in Box
Very nice vintage Model#61 Martin precision single action reel in very good condition. Martin is one of the oldest manufacturer's of fly fishing reels in the USA and the 60 series of Martin reels have been the perfect"first trout reel" for generations of Americans. It retrieves smoothly and the click/ pawl drag sounds out well. The exterior is nice. Shows very little use. Please review the photos for as the final word on the condition of this reel. Please email me if you have questions. If you are thinking of purchasing a new superlight single action reel, you could spend a lot more but not get the reliability of this gently used Martin 61 reel.
