For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this very hard to find fly fishing reel from Wright McGill Eagle Claw. The smaller EC-11 is seldom seen but we have had a couple over the years. These were made in Japan. This size in a 6/7/8 fly line size is even rarer and is only the second one that we've ever seen. As you can see from the paper sticker it is loaded with Cortland WF-7-F fly line. This is used but in excellent and collectible condition with very little paint loss and working smoothly. About 2 7/8" in diameter, a copy of the Hardy Featherweight. Reel shows virtually no finish wear. Cranks smoothly with an adjustable drag. Set up for left hand wind(but easily reversible to right hand) and has a pleasing left hand bias- slightly lighter on the wind, stronger on the pay. Comes with original box and instruction paper. Made in Taiwan. This model is rated for a 6 weight line capacity and you could squeeze a WF-6 line on it but it would be better to use it with a 4 or 5 weight line with some backing. Actual weight is 4.1 ounces. Would look good on a Fenwick fiberglass rod. A fine reel to collect or use! Thank you for looking!
