The rod has not been used in saltwater and there is no oxidation on the reel seat or guides. The blank is unmarked except for some scratching at the male ferrule ends from assembly, which in no way affects the performance of the rod. The Sage Xi2 rod tube has been replaced with a used Sage Xi3 tube with cap as the original tube was stolen. Rod is in very nice condition with little to no use. No detection of any issues or any signs of wear. Near mint condition. Slight wear to outside of aluminum cylinder but no notable dings or dents. Someone wrote the letter“S” on the aluminum cylinder in red marker. On the bottom cork handle the letter“S” is written in black marker. A fine example in great original condition. Sage Xi2 9ft 10wt 4 piece rod. This is a custom built( by me) Sage using all components from Scoff Tackle Co. The cork is their super grade and the butt is removable. It has never fought a fish and aside from a few boat rides it mostly sits in the closet. After two total knee replacements my days of chasing big tarpon are over and this rod needs to be put to good use. I contacted Sage and they said they would honor the warranty to whom ever I sold the rod. The rod tube is partitioned thus eliminating the need for a cloth rod bag. This is a Winston B2X 9' 10wt. 4pc. fly rod. I had Winston put a MX reel seat on it as I preferred the aluminum reel seat and slightly bigger fighting butt. This rod is in good condition and shows normal. But minimal wear. Used a handful of times over the past several years for saltwater fishing the only blemish that was obvious is a bit of boat paint that is on the ferrule(shown in last image above) I'm sure this could be removed with a mild solvent, but it has no affect on the rods performance.

Known as the BIIX, is in good to fair condition overall. This rod has been used a good amount. The four rod pieces look very nice with a few minor scratches found, primarily on the first two rod pieces. The guides and ferrules also look good overall. The most notable flaw on this rod is on the cork grip- it has a few small chunks of cork broken off at the very top of the grip(see picture) The missing part is very shallow(roughly 1/8th of an inch) While not aesthetically perfect, we don't see any reason this flaw would affect the rod's performance. The cork grip is mostly clean otherwise and the cork butt is in good condition. Despite some wear on this rod, it is functionally sound and would make a great spare rod for the angler in need. This is an extremely powerful 10-weight that weighs in at just over 4 ounces. This 10-weight fly rod would be a great choice for big winds, big flies and fish like permit, giant trivially, trevally.
