Factory Custom RL Winston BIIX 9'0' 5wt
Up for auction is a used Winston Boron IIx 4 piece rod complete with factory sock and rod tube. The rod tube was never used and is in excellent condition. After I bought the rod I sent it back to Winston to have them put a larger custom cigar grip and they also replace the orginal eyes and tip that were well know for the noise they made as the line ran through them. I also had a professionally installed spalted hickory spacer installed using the original black hardware that came with the graphite reel seat. Rod was well taken care of and not used that often as I live about 6 hours from the closest decent trout stream. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I'm selling one of my favorite rods. I fish mainly salt these days and hate to see this rod continue to sit in the closet. I also work for a competitor. So I don't get to use it anymore. It's been taken care of, but it is used. It's caught many a trout. It really is the perfect dry fly rod as they say. I bought it from a flyshop and I am the only owner. Upon cleaning up the cork the faint letters D and E appeared, so I guess it was the shop demo. I got a discount buying it knowing it was"flycasted" in the parking lot a few times. It's in good shape, but there's a few little scratches and blemishes from use. Sage TCX 590-4 5wt 9'0" 4pc Fly Rod This Sage TCX fly rod has been fished and shows some obvious and normal signs of use that are all fairly light and do not affect the performance of the rod at all- purely aesthetic. The handle is in great condition. A bit darker than a brand new one but there are no chunks of cork missing, etc. Overall this fly rod is in very good condition. Original Sage rod sock only included. Very well-cared for by its previous owner and seldom fished. This crisp loading, lightweight, fast-action fly rod shows only a faint few nominal signs of trace cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas. For your convenience, please refer to the photos above and the inspection results below, for further item details. Handle/Grip: Cork displays a slight hint of light staining from previous handling. But remains overall, pleasantly free from any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. Reel-Seat: Up-locking skeleton seat still looks handsome and shiney as it did new. Remains sturdily fastened, and still functions perfectly as well. Rod Blank: A close inspection from tip to butt reveals the expected minor scuffs and light scrapes in the typical places. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised. Rod Guides/Tip-Top: A close review shows no trace of tarnish. Rust, or oxidization present, and no grooving, deformation, or guide misalignment of any kind was found

What a phenomenal little 5wt.and it's in excellent condition(borderline mint) Original owner. Used lightly a couple seasons. Unfortunately can't say the same for the rod tube which has had it's share of nicks and dings from too much time in the garage. Comes with sock and tube. No warranty card.

Used Sage Accel Fly Rod 590-4 4PC 5WT 9'0 with case READ broken
A sage 590-4 graphite rod with case. Top section is broken. the break is clean and there doesnt seem to be any runs or cracks resulting from the break. It should be repairable in the right hands.
