This rod is in very good condition. I'm not much of a spey caster but it throws overhand quite welll also. I just prefer single hand rods. Tube and sock are in good condition. There are a couple of marks on the inside of the sock flap and a couple of scratches on the tube here and there. From the Winston Website: With an eye on the detailed blending of quality. It is a four piece rod that is 12 feet 6 inches in length and weighs 5 ¾ oz. It is in excellent shape. On the 1 st and 2nd sections there are some very minor scuff/scratches. The last 5 images show what I am describing. In my opinion this is much less than any normal wear on any item listed as used as this fly rod is practically new.
