Made in the USA. Serial# J 60330. The top 1/2 has 8 guides. Bottom has 2 guides. I bought the rod 20 plus years ago. Never fished with it. This is a nice looking rod and would good for fishing, if you like old school or a nice piece just to display. The rod came with a red and green plaid sleeve and I don't know if it the sleeve is original or not. Please see the pictures. Come in a shipping tube that is original. But the tube shows some signs of age, see pictures. I don't know the age of the rod, but if you have any questions please contact me before you bid, I will try my best to answer them. Vtg Fenwick FF80 8' Fly Rod 4 OZ. AFTMA Fly Line No. 7-8, Feralite + Tube & Sock
Vintage Fenwick FF80 8' 4 OZ. AFTMA Fly Line No. 7-8 Fly Rod Feralite Vintage Fenwick FF80 8 foot 7/8 weight Feralite fly rod. Plus rod sock and marked rod tube. The best I can figure out from the serial number, rod was manufactured mid to late 60's, 1967-68? Rod is used but it's in very good condition, has a few small scratches from use, most of them are between the cork handle and the first line guide. Hard to photograph but the second photo below here is my best attempt. Comes complete with rod sock and a Fenwick labeled aluminum tube. Tube did its job of protecting this fine rod. Tube has plenty of storage and transportation marks on the full length. No dents or breaks just use. Paper label is intact but model number and weight are slowly wearing away. Chain cap retainer is long gone but not the cap! Please view all the photos ... moreand e-mail any questions you may have. I try and let my photos show actual condition of the item.
