This 470-3 TXL rod has only been cast and some of my"on-stream" clinics and has not been fished. The only"wear marks" are the slight scuffs on the bottom of the reel seat. Where it was placed down on stream-side rocks. The grip is flawless. I can't see a single scuff or surface mark on any of the sections. The natural tarnishing of the reel-seat hardware, which happens whether the rod is exposed to the elements or not, is already making the rod look cooler! No factory tube, but has it's factory sock, and I will ship it in a PVC tube for it's security. I'd rate this rod a 9 on a 10-scale. Please check my history and bid with confidence. Thanks!

Here is my Redington CPX 8133-4 two handed rod that is in excellent condition. Given the fact that it has only been cast in my spey clinics and has never seen a fish. No dings in any of the sections and the cork is perfect. There are a few minor superficial scuffs from being set down during casting sessions, but nothing that will affect it's structural nature. Here is a great European Nymph rod for an amazing price. The Echo Shadow PE(Pete Erickson design) is one of the best Czech nymph rods i've ever used. The 10 foot 3 weight is perfect for short line methods and is so sensitive to trout taking your nymphs. This rod is in excellent condition. Comes complete with the factory case and sack. You'll love this rod. It also has the versatility to be a great all around nymph stick. A good dry fly rod and an exceptional lake rod.

Up for auction is a vintage St. Croix Avid SCIII fly rod that is 6 feet 6 inches in length and for 4 weight line with a fast action. This rod was part of a large lot of broken. Warranty return rods purchased directly from the St. Croix factory. The rod had a broken middle section, but I was able to add a matching middle section to make a complete and functional rod. YOUR BID IS FOR THE COMPLETE, FUNCTIONAL ROD, IN AS-IS CONDITION! When rods are turned into St. Croix for warranty, they scrap off the label to denote that the warranty has been used up. If you look at the pics you can see where the labels have been removed.
