As a 7 weight, it has tons of utility. It is at home casting big streamers or large nymphs for trout as well as tackling smallmouth bass, even steelhead in freshwater. The rod is in excellent. Almost like new condition. The cork handle is excellent, as is the wood insert, downlocking reel seat. The blank is Winston's classic dark green, with green wraps and without blemish. The original owner of the rod had their name written on the blank. The rod is serial number 9115. It is listed to weight 3 1/2 oz. The rod has a Trophy Cup label on the blank. But was finished in Montana after the company was purchased by Tom Morgan. These rods do not have serial numbers. The handwriting on the rod(size, length, etc. was likely done by Tom Morgan himself. We were in contact with Winston directly for these answers to this particular rod. The rod itself is in decent condition for its age. The handle has no pieces of cork missing. Etc. The handle half of the rod has a fair amount of light scratches/scuffs, nothing that affects the rod- purely aesthetic. Here is a very nice Loomis Composite Industries EXCELON 8 1/2' Flyfisher fly rod. IM6 graphite, marked for#5 line.The sections fit tightly with no slack and the rod looks great. I had a terrible time getting good photos that depict the details of the rod and I tried about 5 different settings. The only detraction I can see is the butt cover plug must have come off at some point and should not be hard to find or fashion. If you need better pictures email me and if the snow melts I will take some pictures in natural light, it should show up better. The cork is dirty and I did not try to clean it but it should clean up nice. You will like this rod especially in smaller streams. Fly Rod TFO IM6 Graphite 9'0" 7wt 4 piece in DB Dunn Case
For auction is a 7 weight TFO(Temple Fork Outfitters) 9ft 4 piece fly rod in mint condition. I bought this as a backup rod and never used it. I am also including a barely used Scientific AnglersWF-F/S fly line with a 10 ft sink tip. This comes in a DB Dun 2-rod-and-reel case. The case is for 3-piece rods. But there is no problem carrying a 4-piece in it. I simply put 2 sections in the case partitions and 2 sections in a flannel rod sock(included) to prevent any wear from the sections rubbing together. All of this fits in one side of the case. The line was never used, but I had tied a loop in the reel end of the line for a ready attachment if needed. Thank you for looking.

This is a used in great condition Temple Fork Outfitters Lefty Kreh IM6 Graphite 9wt 9foot 2 pc rod. In great condition. I am selling it for a friend, and I don't know much about Fly fishing, but ask questions and I will try to get answers from him. The handle has very, very slight amount of dirt stains in the cork.

Winston vintage pre - IM6 9' 3 wt graphite fly rod
Here is a fine example of a Winston first generation graphite fly rod. 9' 3wt. 2 piece with original sock and tube. Written on the blank: 9' 3wt 274 cm. 60 g 5624. This is a great medium action rod in fantastic shape. There are a few minor surficial scratches/rub marks on the blank- otherwise in beautiful condition as are the wraps. There is one small rub mark on the wood insert where the reel seat sits. And, as usual, the cork is darkened from use. I sent this rod in to Winston about 12 years ago to have the spiggot ferrule replaced as it had worn down. I haven't fished the rod much- many years left before you would have to do the same. Found at an estate sale and just passing it along. The Pac Bay blank was custom made and is 9' in total length. It was professionally done by the name on the rod[ photo 3] and is near flawless except for a small portion of the cork[ picture 8] which looks to be more of an indentation and not loss of cork. Still this one is a beauty and ready for the season. Im6 Graphite. 10 eyelets and priced 2 sell.
