You are bidding on a gently used Sage FLi 476 7'6" 4 weight, 2pc medium-fast action Fly Rod with tube. It is a very good rod for small to medium size streams. Towards the handle of the fly rod you will find"Z14579" written on it. There is a cocobolo wood insert at the reel seat. The fly rod is a copper color with brown wraps around the guides. The tube is brown. It is in very good condition! The grip shows some very light stains. My husband builds his own fly rods so he is selling the ones that he bought. Please feel free to ask questions.

Orvis Superfine Trout Bum 6' 2 wt 4 piece rod in excellent condition! This is on of the 1 oz series of Orvis rods although I believe that this one actually weights 1.2 oz. It feels extremely light in hand and is a joy to cast! It's a Full-Flex 3.0 rod using Orvis' measuring system but it's not a slow rod and casts very nicely with both 2 and 3 wt lines. I used a 2 wt double taper on it with great success. At 6' in length and 4 pieces the rod tube is less than 22" long and fits easily in carry-on luggage. This is perfect for small stream. Tight quarters fishing. The rod is in excellent condition with very few signs of wear. I went over it from tip to butt while with a damp rag to make sure there were no scratches or gouges. The cork is also in great shape as you can see from the photo. The rod sock is in very good ... morecondition with no stains. This is a beautiful Scott fiberglass rod. It is a two-piece 8ft for 4wt line. I purchased the rod new in the 70's. And it is in superb condition. It's serial# is 79- 2731. There is no sun damage; all ferrules and wrappings are excellent; and the grip has no damage. The rod doesn't even appear to have any scuffs or scratches! If you know glass. And the quality of the Scott glass rods, in particular, then you know how great this rod fishes! It has good punch in the throw, and a wonderful tip section that graphite can never duplicate. For auction is a lightly used custom built Lamiglas 3/4 wt. two piece graphite fly rod. It is 6' 6" 78" in length. The guides are Pacific Bay SIC black single foot(2 foot stripper guide) The reel seat is zebra wood with black hardware. It also has a black hook keeper. Unfortunately the photos don't do it justice. The wraps are brown with dark brown and copper foil trim. The decorative butt wrap is a nine diamond pattern with tan added to the three guide wrap colors. This is a great little rod for fishing streams or choked small rivers and works well for packing. I only used it a handful of times but the trout landed with it were memorable as the light moderate action can make a whale out of a brookie. Enjoy!

Harry Murray. Of Murray's Fly Shop in Edinburgh, VA calls the Scott G 904(9 foot 4 weight) the tailwater and spring creek fly rod to which all others are compared. This rod is the epitome of that description. A cult classic paralleling the Sage 389LL in it's following. Slow, silky, fine-tippet-protecting-action necessary to fool todays overfished trout. This rod is also one of a very few made at the Scott factory in this configuration. If you know the Scott G series, you are aware that the early models were built with Scott's signature"epoxy topped" grip, in a half wells shape. What you may not be aware of is that a"superfine, over wrapped" grip, as depicted in my photos, was available as a factory upgrade, I'm told approximately $50 at the time. The other unique accoutrement of this rod is the down locking ... moreslide band with teakwood spacer reel seat. Another upgrade. When I sent a note to Scott after finding this rod, they said"what a find! They also verified it's authenticity for me. This rod will make a fine addition to a classic fly rod collection, Scott collector, or for the light line, fine tippet tailwater and/or spring creek fisherman who wants a rod with an action and feel impossible to find today. There hasn't been much fishing time put on this rod, the ferrule gap is at factory spec, it's straight as any Scott I've seen, and the guides are tight with absolutely no deterioration of the wraps. Additionally, the red agate inserts on the stripping guides, a Scott signature feature, are intact. Original tube and sack. This rod needs a home with someone who appreciates just how rare. Winston Fly Rod - 8 ft - 4 wt - 2 pc - 2 oz
A 1988 Winston Original Graphite Fly Rod in Excellent Condition. This rod was lightly used by its one owner. The rod case has a few scratches and the sticker information on the cap is worn. The protective circular sponge like material on the inside of the cap needs a spot of glue to keep it in place. The reel seat has a small scratch as shown in one of the pictures. The fit of the ferrules is great. There is no play and the rod has a true one piece feel. The wraps are excellent+. This 8 foot- 4 weight- 2 piece fly rod is a joy to cast. It weighs 2 ounces. If on occasion you find yourself fishing medium to small flies. Soft hackles or size 14 to 20 nymphs from top to bottom this rod will serve you well.

This is an extremely versatile light trout rod, and this may be one of the most beloved rods that Sage ever produced. So, whether you are casting a caddis in the evening to splashing risers below Wolf Creek on the mighty Missouri, or perhaps stalking wary sippers on the main branch of the Delaware, this rod is up to the task. Really, one of the most loved and sought after rods from Sage and often considered the most collectible of any of the Sage series of rods, along with the LL's. This rod is in overall excellent condition. Does not appear to have been fished more than a handful times. Which is what our guess is. Cork shows some light to moderate color though still pretty smooth and no fill loss. A handful of light ... moremarks on blank, and a few small marks on spacer on reel seat. Rel seat hardware has a few light marks as well. Everything else looks excellent. Comes with original rod tube and sock, rod tube shows a good deal of wear but is 100% functional(it is, after all, an aluminum tube.
