Skip Morris Silvertrim 7wt Graphite 4 Piece Flyrod
This auction if for a used. In good condition, Skip Morris 7wt graphite flyrod. I order this rod from Mr. Morris on 12/4/86 and received it in January 1987. The rod was built from Morris's blanks with oversize ferrules and is the Silvertrim model. The rod markings are: Skip Morris Silvertrim created for Tony Frascarelli, 9' 6-7-8 4-piece and serial number. Cost back then for this rod was $318. I fished this rod extensively in 1987-88 and maybe a dozen times since then. Rod has a screw uplocking reel seat with a wood insert, walnut I think. There are the unusual rubs, etc. that you would normally fine on a well used rod. Rod comes in a cloth bag and in an aluminum tube. The tube has a number of scratch and rub marks as well as an address label that has been stuck on it since 1987. This is an as is auction so please ask any questions ... morebefore bidding.

Up for auction is a recent estate find = a Thomas& Thomas Horizon series saltwater fly rod Model HS 909S-4 in 9 foot for a 9 weight line. The rod comes in the original sock and aluminum T&T Tube( as pictured) This is a fast action salt water rod with uplocking black anodized reel seat and a deep cobalt blue graphite blank. Each of the 4 sections is marked with the serial number 27-247. The rod is in almost mint condition and was very lightly used if at all. This is a powerful saltwater rod that is rated for a 9 weight forward line but will easily handle a 10 weight line too( I tried both on the rod) It has a full Wells cork grip( clean) and a 1 1/2" long cork fighting butt( also very clean) See all of the pictures as I tried to capture every section of the rod plus grip. Listed is a rare Winston fly rod made for Trout Unlimited"Homewater" 8'10" 5 weight rod. They placed extra attention with silver accent wrappings. Burled black walnut insert. The taper is from B2X. This was a limited production rod and you could only get one if you were a Trout Unlimited Lifetime member. Not likely to find this rod come up for auction. There is a very tiny/small scratch on the finish of the rod. But otherwise in excellent condition.

SAGE RPL 690 4 PIECE FLYROD Used. But in'pristine' condition, this has been my'backup' streamer rod that has seen very little actual use and has spent the majority of time in it's aluminum rod tube. This is the rod that'won the west' as it is a great, big river, streamer, hopper, nymph rod that relishes throwing a long line. into the wind! As stated the rod is in pristine condition, with no real wear marks, or scratches on the blank itself, or the reel seat. I-10( 10 being the best) I would rate it as a 9.5. Included are the original rod tube and sock from Sage.
