A very good 4 piece combination pack rod that I have used myself. Labeled No. M4TMU-7 1/2 Line size 7 and MiNi Ferrules The cork handle shows wear. The round emblem on the cork is missing. I see no defects on the fiberglass. Windings and the line guides. This is a proven excellent rod from the 70's. Good aluminum case& sock. The sock in the picture is a little short. So a longer one is replacing it.

Vintage 2 piece fiberglass spin rod made by Wright& McGill in Denver Colorado. The rod is 7ft and a brass plate on the cork says Eagle Claw. On the rod near the cork area is writing that says Wright& McGill Denco 7ft No. B-970. There is cork on the bottom piece then the space you mount a reel. And another area of cork and all cork is in very good condition with no missing pieces. All the eyes are attached well and in very good condition. I can see not rust on the metal parts and the rod looks like it was not used very much. I was contacted by a fishing expert telling me that this rod is not a fly rod. It is a fiberglass spin rod so I revised my posting with the correct information. I apologize for the mistake and appreciate having this mistake brought to my attention. This rod is cherry color from one end to the other starting with the white rubber handle end with Berkley B in the heart logo. The first cherry piece is the marbled cherry grip spacer. Next the foam handle, the reel mound hardware, the foam rest, the marbled rest spacer, the rod, the label, the eyelets are all matching cherry color. The color is very nice and the care of the rod shows in that it isn't all beat up with use.
