This is a large 12 1/2 foot. 3 section, bamboo fishing rod. The name on the rod is LL Bean Inc. Freeport, Me. The words BEANS DEEP TROLLING is also on the rod. The last section of the rod has double eyelets in two places( See Photos) These are eyelets on both sides of the rod. Very unusual. I took lots of photos as I do not fish and wanted to describe this rod the best I can. If you need more photos or info, just ask and I will try my best to make you happy. Vintage Split Bamboo 2 Piece 54" Fishing Rod Kirkland?? Bait or Trolling Rod
Purchased at an estate auction with a number of other bamboo rods. This is a 54 inch rod that I could not find the makers mark on. Looking at pictures of the handle the handle is shaped like a Kirkland rod handle. The only eyelet is the end eyelet. The rod is very clean with no splits or cracks. It is in excellent condition. there is no indication that there were ever eyelets on the rod. Its total length is about 54 inches. One section is about 30 inches and the handle section is about 25 Inches. I believe it is a bait or trolling rod.

Antique 8'8" Bamboo Casting or Trolling Rod 3/2, Bell Guides, Three Ring Tops
This unmarked rod has the Chubb railed nickel silver plated downlocking slide reel seat. The butt section is 1" short and I believe that the female ferrule on the butt section is a replacement. The large bell guide on the butt has been rewrapped. Note that the male ferrules on the tip sections are spiked. One of the two tip sections is 1 3/4" short. All of the bell guides on the mid and tips are tiny. The cane is sound. No delamination, and the finish is good. There are fishing sets to both tip sections. I wouldn't expect anyone to fish this rod. No bag or tube.

Vintage MONTAGUE Bamboo Trolling Rod Boat Rod Pier Fishing Catfish Rod or Decor! Shows some wear from age and use but still in great antique condition! The metal reel seat and the guides. Especially the tip guide show green oxidation from sea water? The bamboo itself could use from conditioner but is still very nice! The rubber butt cap is getting old and brittle but is hanging in there. This rod is 2 piece and measures 7 1/2 foot! This is a Montague but the name and logo have worn off? Thanks for looking!

Vintage Montague 65" Bamboo & 6' Mohawk Green Devil Fiberglas Boat Trolling Rods
Two collectible U.S. made vintage trolling or boat fishing rods plus a case for both. Both have turned oak handles with rubber butt ends and both are in good condition. They are straight and have all their guides. None of the guides are loose on either of the rods. There is minor weathering on the rods and metal parts on both. But no rust on either. The Montaque Fishing Rod is 65" long. It appears to be made of split bamboo(see pics) It is one piece rod with a detachable handle. I'm not an expert but guess that it was probably made in the 1920s or 1930s. The Mohawk is a 6' two piece fiberglass rod. It has remnants of some old electrical tape around where the rod meets the handle. But the handle isn't loose. It should clean off pretty easily. I'm guessing that it is probably from the 1940s or 50s. I will be shipping them ... moreboth in a"The Whalebone" 4' plastic rod caddy model 30746. It is"dentproof. Waterproof and corrosion free" and is in excellent condition. Look at the pics for a better sense of condition. The price is for all 3 items

Abercrombie & Fitch Yellowstone Special 71/2' casting/trolling split bamboo rod
Up for auction is a vintage split bamboo casting/trolling rod. It's a three piece rod with an extra tip section. The butt section is marked"A& F Yellowstone Special" no other signature or markings found. It appears that all sections are equal in length. Which to me means it has not been broken or repaired. However. It is missing one of the barrel guides on the butt section as well as missing the tip guide on the extra tip section. It does require some repair. It comes inside a brown cloth sleeve without any label or markings and it will be carefully packaged and shipped inside a 2" schedule 40 pvc tube.
