Here is a Vintage Edwards Special"Featherweight" split bamboo fly-fishing rod that is in nice condition for the age.No warping as I often find with thses old bamboo rod. I didn't put rod together to measure total length,i measured each piece. Base or section with reel seat: 37" next up: 36 1/2. one tip: 34 1/4 one tip: 26 1/4 Rod is missing one eyelet on middle section close to where rod fit together,all other 15 eyelets are intact and wrappings look good. Rod comes with a sock and metal tube, not sure it is the original because I got it the way you see it? No name on sock or tube! rod is marked as Edward Special on blank and Featherweight on bottom or butt of rod which I didn't notice til after I took the photos. The handle has some finish loss on the bottom edge but overall is excellent. The rod is very nice but is missing one of the eyes. The rest are very good and overall the rod is nice.
