New info: In a flyrodder forum on Garcia/ Conolons. This rod was probably made between 1962& 1964. Also there are more photos. Under the rod label. Garcia Conolon and 3 blue stars is the model number, 2637; then"8 ft. dry fly action; use D HCH HCF" Very close to excellent condition. The cork is clean. Like new. The reel seat shows little, if any wear, such as expected scratches. It has brown windings which are also over the metal ferrules. 5 guides plus tip. I have not used it as I have a similar rod. It is a Garcia/ Conolon. 2685T, green with green windings, and no stars; maybe a later model( Anyone know anything about it? Shipped in pvc tube and rod wrapped in cloth.

This is a vintage garcia conolon B593 B 15 thread or 50lb IGFA glass rod. It is in pretty good condition. There are a few imperfections which you can see in the pictures. Rare Garcia Conolon 3 star 2 piece spinning fishing rod - Purple, Brown & Tan
You are bidding on a Vintage Garcia Conolon 3 star 2 piece spinning fishing rod with a purple reel seat and brown and light tan body. The rod has had the TIP BROKEN. The rod measures 6 feet and 5 1/2 inches long when assembled. You can’t make out all the writing on the side of the rod. But can clearly see Garcia Conolon, Three Star and Made in USA. You can also make out the words Fast Taper and 4-8 lb. line, which indicates to me it is a light action rod. Indeed, it does have a very limber action(you’ll know when you have a fish on) I am not sure of the original length, but am guessing it was originally a 6 and 1/2 foot long rod. The rod has some scuffing and scratches to the finish that I would describe as typical for the vintage. It has a great reel seat, great connecting ferrule and 6 nice line guides and wraps(the tip guide is not original ... morebut has been replace by another owner) IT IS READY TO CATCH FISH OR BETTER YET, ADD TO YOUR CONOLON COLLECTION! The top section does not fit snug into the center section joint? Very loose. Falls out. The rest of the rod. Bottom section, is great. This is good for PARTS. PIECES, REPAIR, RESTORE PROJECT, ETC. VINTAGE GARCIA CONOLON 3 STAR 8208-A SPINNING ROD & GARCIA MITCHELL 410 REEL
This is auction is for a Garcia Conolon 3 Star Rod Model 8208-A light action fast taper 1/4- 2 Oz lures. 4-8 LB Line 19508. As stated above the Top Eye looks to have been repaired/replaced the rod length should be 78 inches I measured the length of Rod and it come to 77.25 inches long. The plastic cap on Butt end of Rod is missing. The rest of the Rod of the rod is in great shape including the cork. Eyes and bindings, minus the top eye condition. The Rod is still very flexible. Also included in Auction is a Garcia Mitchell 410 Spinning Reel in Great Condition. Operates Great and Clean. ROD SOLD AS STATED ABOVE AS IS.

I got the help I needed. This is a Vintage Garcia Conolon Companion 3 Star Two Piece Fly fishing Rod 8' Fiberglass. I took photos of the flaws That I can see. If you would like more please let me know but I like to be as up front with my listings as I can. Pretty flawless. Cork handle isn't chipped or cracked, same with the rod itself. Up for auction are three spinning rods. The Eagle claw is useable however poles are for parts. Eagle Claw by Wright& McGill TM 6’ The rod was part of a combo MSEC602MS Line-Size 4-10lbs lure ¼ to ½ The pole has some surface abrasions and deep scratches in foam handle(useable) Garcia Conolon 6 ½‘ Medium’ Made in the USA Line guides are good. The label is very bad however the letter“g” was on the butt cap The rod had a broken tip. Windings on line guides is worn. Not sure 6’ Very nice ferrules. Nice cork handle. One line guide is bent. One line guide was redone(the red winding)

Vintage Lee Wulff 7021 7' 0" 3.2 oz fiberglass fly fishing rod, Garcia Conolon
This vintage Garcia-Conolon'Lee Wulff' model 2071 2/1#7(6) fiberglass fly rod was Made in USA in the early 1970's. It is all-original. With no damage or repairs. Also included is the original aluminum storage tube and green, 2-compartment storage sack. It is 7'0" when assembled. Factory-rated for#7 AFTMA lines. But also casts a DT6 line very nicely. I don't think the rod has ever been used. The cork handle is a round"Ritz-style" FYI: some Wulffs had a squared-off"quadrate" shaped grip. Chrome hook keeper. Stripping guide(about a size 8mm) and snake guides and tip-tip are beautiful as are the thread winidings and protective finish. These Lee Wulff series rods featured a unique stainless steel spigot ferrule. Labeling on the rod is perfect. This rod is an early model because it is labeled with a ... moreserial number- 25354(FYI: later models do not have serial numbers) This is probably the most desirable taper of the Wulff collection- especially from a modern trout fishing standpoint. This rod is simply a fantastic. Well-performing fishing tool. It has a sweet, pleasing medium action, and can handle a wide assortment of fly/leader setups: dry files, hopper/dropper, multiple wet flies, weighted nymphs or streamers; this rod can do it all. The item will be packaged very well. And shipped via USPS Priority Mail service, insured for the final bid amount. If you are a collector or fisherman. Either way you will be very pleased with this fly rod.
