Vintage folding/collapsible fishing rod/pole
The makers of this fine fishing pole should have been put on. But it is not. It is very well made, and is true and straight, no kinks and not broken. The cork portion, has got a few dings from use, please see pictures. When fully extended it is 59 inches long. The individual rod pieces are made of what looks like copper, the eye lets are also made of copper. The cap that the rod goes into is made of brass, the part that the fishing reel is attached to is made of aluminum. The whole thing is very durable, and I would not be afraid to use it with a light line for a small type of fish. The dollar bill is for size comparison, and is not sale with this auction.collapsible

This is a vintage St Croix Collapsible fishing machine. It is portable and when all broken down is only 15 1/4" When it is extended it is a 5' fishing pole with a push button reel. All of the eyes are there. There are a few scratches from use over the years. It does have a range finder, I have not used that part just tested in home so I cannot say how it works, but everything else is working good. It does have a built in drag in the reel. One side can be used for fly fishing and the other side can be used for regular fishing. Collapsed it measures 32" and fully extended it measures 108" or 9" The cork handle is in excellent condition. Up for sale is a vintage Eagle Claw Trailmaster No TRP601-6'9" 206 cm) collapsible 6 piece fishing rod with aluminum case. Rod is made of what appears to be fiberglass and is in really good condition. With minor wear. It appears to have been barely used, or very well cared for. Aluminum case is also in good condition. This would be perfect for any fisher-person, it would be an ideal travel pole and would be fabulous for backpackers and hikers or to keep in the car for every day fishing opportunities. It offers the rugged safety and durability of a sturdy, sealed aluminum case with screw top(chain connects lid to canister to prevent loss) It also features an interior cloth pouch that has pockets to hold pole parts, simply roll up the pole parts inside the cloth pouch and insert the pouch into the aluminum case. No more broken pole ... moreparts and costly repairs/replacements. The canister also has loops for a strap, but it isn't included, one could potentially make their own, or use a clip to clip to a backpack or belt. With Spring/Summer right around the corner, this would be the perfect piece of equipment to add to the camp gear box. Rod is approximately 6'9" when fully assembled, case is approximately 17" long, reel isn't included, listing is just for 6 pieces that make one fishing rod, one cloth storage pouch, and one aluminum case. Up for sales is this 6' medium action Zebco fishing rod and reel along with it's carrying case. Another item in my husbands collection of fishing rods. It collapses down to 4 pieces to fit in the zippered case. Size 21-1/2"x 8" it comes with. Fits perfect in a car, duffle bag or suit case to take with you anywhere. The rod and reel are in pretty good condition. All the parts fit well and there are no repairs or tape. You will need new fishing line to replace the old stuff inside. The carrying case is old and does have wear and marks on it, but the zipper works well. I have wiped all of the items to remove any dirt or dust from being in storage.
