Up for auctioin is this vintage Maroon Garcia Four-Star 6 1/2' spinning rod. This may be a Conolon rod but most of the decal is missing so its hard to say for sure. The rod is in very good condition and shows a little wear from use. The reel seat has a little wear. There are no cracks or chips in the cork handle. All guides are shiney with no bends and the wraps are intact with no fraying. The fiberglass does have a few light scuffs from handling. All that can be read of the decal is part of Garcia, 4 stars and the first two letters in FOUR. The rod measures just over 6 1/2' when put together. Check out the pictures.Thanks!

Up for auction is a vintage No. 2218 Garcia fishing rod. The pole is 6 1/2 ft. and is in very good condition. All the eyes are original and the the pole was used so it shows a little wear yet it is obvious that it is well cared for. I believe it is from the 1950's. The rod is for light action bait& spin casting.The fishing pole is Gold Metallic color with brown thread wrapping near the eyes. The cork handle is excellent! Vintage Garcia Conolon 2604T 6 1/2' Spinning Med Light Action Rod - Barely Used
This is a like new Vintage Garcia Conolon 2604T 6 1/2' Medium Light Action Spinning Rod made in USA. The rod is 6.5 ft. Medium light action and fast taper. Each section measures 40" and when put together. Exactly 78" or 6'6" The cork grips, reel seat, rubber butt, guides and windings are in excellent condition, and it has probably probably seen an hour or two on the water. The cork is perfect, and has original inspection label on it#41. As you can see in the pictures, there is one little flaw in the white label, but that is totally cosmetic and would not effect the action, performance, or other conditions of the rod. I purchased this rod to replace one I had purchased new in the 1960's that was destroyed when I lost my house in a California mudslide in 1982. When I purchased this rod I had hoped it might be the ... morecorrect replacement. But it turned out a larger 7' version was correct. Consequently, I would like to pass this 6 1/2' rod on to another enthusiast, to enjoy. I will ship this rod packed securely a plastic tube in a USPS triangular mailing box. For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this great fishing rod from Abu Garcia. It is a Conolon Custom model. It is a two piece 6 1/2 foot rod that has a medium action. Glass lined eyes and is made of black graphite. It has no ratings on it but I would say and is rated for up to 30 pound mono and 1/4 to 1 ounce lures. This one is used but in excellent condition. TWO VINTAGE GARCIA CONOLON SPINNING RODS 6 1/2 FT LIVE FIBER
Two vintage 6 1/2 foot Garcia Conolon spinning rods. The green one is a model 8212 Medium Action rated for 8-15 lb line and 3/8-3/4 oz lures. It has aluminum oxide ceramic guides. The guides and their wraps look to be in great shape. Has some graphics wear. But the blank and handle cork are in overall nice condition. The brown rod is a Conolon Live Fiber. It looks like the model and line/ lure specs have worn off, but it is somewhat lighter in action than the green rod- perhaps a medium light. It has stainless guides with a carboloy tip. The guide wraps look pretty good- no loose or missing threads- but the bottom two wraps show some wear along the edges of the guide feet. The handle cork and blank are in pretty nice shape on this rod as well. Ships Priority Mail in a PVC tube.

You are bidding on a Vintage Garcia Conolon 2320 B Light Action 6 1/2 Ft. Spinning Fishing Rod designed for 1/4-1/2 oz. lures and 4-10 lb. line. This is a two piece rod(equal lengths) that measures 6 and 1/2 feet long when assembled. You can read the label on the rod(all but a letter or two) It comes with nice wraps. A nice connecting ferrule, a nice reel seat and cork handle(letter“g” on end of end cap) The rod has a very decent appearance for the vintage. The only negative thing is that the guides have rusted, so they will need some cleaning or replaced if desired. This will make a great fishing rod or a very nice one for your collection. Here is a vintage 1970's GARCIA CONOLON. 3 STAR, 8208-A, 2 PIECE, LIGHT ACTION, 6 1/2'FAST TAPER, SPINNING ROD, in MINT NEVER USED condition. Its decal is 100% There are 5 guides, a tip, and a double hook keeper. Guides show no wear. It is rated for 1/4 to 1/2 oz. lures and 4 to 8 lb. line. The corks are perfect and still has the inspector's number on it. It has never had a reel on it. This is one from my collection to yours. This is the cleanest conolon you will ever find. Offered up for bids is this Vintage GARCIA CONOLON'COMPANION' 2602 6 1/2' Spinning Rod& org. case-V.NICE. This spinning rod is 6 1/2' long. Made of conolon material, is called a med.light rod. Everything is org. but has been varnished over. I am not sure how much that affects its value, but whoever did it, did a good job. The case has scratch marks over much of the case, and the bottom lid has been taped over. Don't know why, BUT, has not been damaged, as far as I can tell.
