Up for bid is a vintage Eagle Claw Wright McGill Trailmaster 5-way 8 piece 6'9" rod number VM8TM with zipper case and warranty card. Please look closely at the pictures as it appears no reels have ever been attached to the rod(pictures 2& 3) However there are some marks on the some of the other sections of the rod. There is also a dent in the aluminum butt of one rod section that holds a reel(see picture 4) and an"Eagle Claw" badge is missing from the cork on the rod section that has the"Wright McGill" name/info. All eyes are intact without any bends. I am not sure marks and dent were caused while rod was in storage but overall rod is very clean. The original warranty card is included. Zippered case free of holes/tears and zipper functions properly. Gorgeous Red Reel Seat Vintage Eagle Claw Graphite Trailmaster 6 piece Pack rod Spinning/fly rod Combination No ZL601 6ft 9 inch(206cm) Lin Size 4-10. F7 Lure Wt. 1/8- 1/2 oz This rod is in excellent condition. All line guides are intact. The cork is clean and ungouged. The red reel seat is. clean and nearly mint with only a few nicks to the very bottom edge adjacent to the butt end cap. These are noticeable only upon close inspection. The metal cup on the butt end of the upper cork section is split(see pic) I believe that this could be easily replaced. Also in the last pic approx 1/2 inch to the left of the feet of the flying eagle logo is a 1/4 inch scuff to the gloss of the rod. This is the only noticeable scuff on the entire rod. Incluses original yellow rod bag and aluminium case. The case has a few small dents and scuffs.

The rod is a Eagle Claw Trailmaster part no M4TMLL 7-1/2' Spin/fly combination rod by Wright and McGill of Denver Co USA. Line size 7. It is a four(4) piece unit and it is in near mint undamaged condition. It comes with its original aluminum carrying tube which has protected it well but it shows lots of scratches mars. Marks and such but no real damage. The ball chain attaching the lid is broken.easily repairable. The case measures 2" in diameter and is 24" long. You will not be disappointed. This is a vintage Wright and McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster M4TMU 7 1/2' Spin/ Fly Combination Fishing Rod! The rod itself is in pristine original condition. Not refurbished. I have owned it for many years, and never mounted a reel to it. It looks as though it was never used before I owned it, but I cannot verify that. The original yellow cloth sleeve is in excellent condition as well, showing no stains or wear. The original tube has light scuffs here and there, but no major defects and is in very good condition. It even still has the original price sticker on the tube. And the informational sticker on the cap! This auction is for a Wright& McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster travel rod. It is a casting/bait casting rod. On the rod its says No. M6TMC. It also has the notation H9 or H3 on the rod. The six piece rod comes with a 15" aluminum tube and cloth sock. The rod is 6&1/2' long. It is in very good condition with no damage or defects. You may have to polish and lubricate the ferrule inserts. As they fit very tightly. I don't think this rod was used for a while. In fact.
