My grandfather was a huge antique collector. He purchased this rod for over $200 at a fishing show in Atlantic City NJ. I have started the auction at a very fair price and would love to see this go to someone that will take care of it. This rod comes with 2 interchangeable tips and all eyes are in excellent condition. I don't know much more than I have provided it is not my area of expertise. The cork on the handle seems to be in excellent condition, I was told that this pole was seen in other auctions for upward of $700 to $800 dollars. The rod measures right at 8 1/2 feet long overall, has a cork handle/grip, and is in good shape overall, shows little wear, and needs minor cleaning. I believe it is a fiberglass rod, and has all the eyes(guides) intact. The metal reel seems to work OK, needs cleaning and has old line it as I tried to show in pictures. Glenn Wicks (lamiglas) 8 1/2 Ft. Casting Fishing Rod Great for Salmon/Large Fish
You are bidding on a Glenn Wick’s(famous rod builder in the Pacific Northwest who uses lamiglas blanks) casting fishing rod of the true lamiglas style. There is no lure or line size listed on the rod. But I would say it has a medium-heavy action and definitely able to land the big ones. This is a two piece rod(equal lengths) that measures 8 and 1/2 feet long when assembled. It is in great mechanical shape for the 8 ceramic guides and wraps, reel seat and cork handle. The rod itself shows a little ware on the finish in places, but nothing major. Cork shows some typical staining. The main thing you will notice by looking at the photographs is a bunch of tiny pink specs on the rod due to catching the overspray from a painting job. Of course this does not hurt a thing for fishing purposes, it just affects the appearance some(you could probably ... moreactually take a cleaner and clean these specs off if desired, I don’t want to take the time to do so) This will make a great fishing rod and is ready to catch fish. Vintage Wright & McGill Ocean Spinning Fishing Rod - No. MOS - 8 1/2 FT
You are bidding on a Vintage Wright& McGill Ocean Spinning Fishing Rod- No. MOS- 8 1/2 FT. This is a two piece rod that measures 8 and 1/2 feet long when assembled and is equipped with Mini Ferrules. The rod has a very nice gloss finish for the vintage. Nice reel seat and nice connecting ferrule. You can read all the writing on the rod: there is no lure or line designation. Under the Eagle Picture on the side of the rod is the number 9-H. The rod does have a light scrape/scuff to show a little wear, but very minimal. Mechanically, the rod does need some guide work. The large bottom guide is missing the inside ring, so this will need replacing. The second guide up on the tip section looks like it has been pulled loose and is missing some of its wrap. The third guide up on the tip section is also missing the inside ring. The tip guide side ... morearm of the frame is broken, so you will also need to add a new tip. It’s puzzling for a rod in this nice of shape to need guide replacements. It has a long handle and reel seat area is a whooping 22 inches long. The cork shows only some minor staining. Vintage Kingfisher Bamboo Fishin Fishing Rod 8 1/2 ft Nickel Reel Mount STURDY!
KingFisher VINTAGE 8-1/2' long Bamboo 2-Piece Fishing Rod Offered is a neat old Bamboo Fishing rod. It says Kingfisher. Engraved on the nickel reel mount. Measures 8 1/2 feet. The handle section measures approximately 29-1/4" long. The last section measures approximately 74" long and has a partial KingFisher decal still in place. Combined length is about 102" or 8.5 feet long. The overall condition appears to be good. What looks like the original end eye loop is firmly in place. The other middle eye loops appear to be missing but would probably be easy to replace. Exact shipping charges will apply based upon zip code destination. The rigid mailing tube measures about 3" wide and 78" long and weighs about 4 pounds. No handling charges. Shipped via USPS standard economy shipping.

Here is a Vintage FENWICK FENGLASS Casting ROD that on the side of the rod it says BLANK NO which of course leads me to believe this is a custom made Fenwick. There is no lure or line designation. But I would make my best guess to say 5/8 to 3/4 oz. LURES and 6 to 15 LB. Line. It is a two piece rod that measures 8 1/2 Ft. long when assembled. It shows some major staining to the cork handle and an attempted partial cleaning has been made as you can see. Also, there are some dirt stains on the body of the rod(mostly on the dark wraps) that are hard to see but can possibly be cleaned off if desired. It also shows some scratches/marks/rub wear, but nothing to hurt the functionality of the rod. Vintage Eagle Claw Wright & Mcgill “Powerlight” Spinning Fishing Rod - 8 1/2 Ft.
This is a Vintage Eagle Claw Wright& Mcgill“Powerlight” Spinning Fishing Rod. Label on the rod reads No. PLSR429- 81/2 FT. Spinning Rod U.S.A. It shows some marks or stains on the finish and to some of the wraps. But nothing too major as you can see. It is missing the second guide up on the tip section, so this will need to be replaced. There are currently 6 nice ceramic guides and wraps on the rod. The cork shows some light staining from use and it comes with a nice metal reel seat. The very tip of this rod may have been broken off as the tip guide looks a little different in color than the other guides and the rod measures just a little under 8’ 5” so it is about an inch shorter than what is marked on the side of the rod. You are bidding on a Vintage LARGE garcia Conolon OCEAN FISHING Spinning ROD that would be great for surf. Jetty or wharf fishing. This is a two piece rod that measures 8 and 1/2 feet long when assembled. The rod is a large rod with no model number or line or lure wt. designation that I can see, but I would say it has a medium light action(light enough to know you are playing a fish but powerful enough to land the big ones. It shows some wear/scuffs as typical of the vintage. It is equipped with 8 guides and wraps, with most of the wraps showing age and drying of the finish with a little fraying. Most of the guides show some corrosion, mostly on the upper and bottom support arms at the back of the guide. Reel seat and ferrule connections are clean and nice, with the ferrule connection being a little tight. Cork handle and reel seat area measures ... morea whopping 26 and 3/4 inches long.
