The rod itself is in very good condition with some minor scratches, the case has some small dings and some scratches but is in good shape, and there are no tares in the sleeve, there is a mark on the threads where you tighten the reel down. I bought this pole brand new back in the mid 1970's, and used it for about 10 years before I gave up fishing, and it has been sitting in my attic ever since. This rod was always known as the standard in versitile"Pack Rods" Assembled it is 6 ft 9 in. but when broke down for carry. No piece is over 14 1/2in. Works great as fly or spining rod. The dependable"Eagle Claw quality always makes these a favorite. This particular Rod appears unused with all markings there and"crisp" When assembled, every thing is very tight, as you need for good casting. Gorgeous Red Reel Seat Vintage Eagle Claw Graphite Trailmaster 6 piece Pack rod Spinning/fly rod Combination No ZL601 6ft 9 inch(206cm) Lin Size 4-10. F7 Lure Wt. 1/8- 1/2 oz This rod is in excellent condition. All line guides are intact. The cork is clean and ungouged. The red reel seat is. clean and nearly mint with only a few nicks to the very bottom edge adjacent to the butt end cap. These are noticeable only upon close inspection. The metal cup on the butt end of the upper cork section is split(see pic) I believe that this could be easily replaced. Also in the last pic approx 1/2 inch to the left of the feet of the flying eagle logo is a 1/4 inch scuff to the gloss of the rod. This is the only noticeable scuff on the entire rod. Incluses original yellow rod bag and aluminium case. The case has a few small dents and scuffs.

Here is a Eagle Claw Trailmaster fishing rod. It is model#TRRR269. Is 6'9" has 6 pieces and is a fly/spinning combination. This rod takes line size 7. It has A9C under the eagle on the handle. I believe this is from the 60's or early 70's, It was made by Wright& McGill Co. Denver, CO. This rod comes with its original cover and aluminum case, which is 15" long. I have owned this for many years and just don't use it any more. This rod is used, but in very good condition; the only wear I can see is a small amount of cork is missing on the upper handle(I think hooks were stuck there) see picture. This is a vintage Wright and McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster M4TMU 7 1/2' Spin/ Fly Combination Fishing Rod! The rod itself is in pristine original condition. Not refurbished. I have owned it for many years, and never mounted a reel to it. It looks as though it was never used before I owned it, but I cannot verify that. The original yellow cloth sleeve is in excellent condition as well, showing no stains or wear. The original tube has light scuffs here and there, but no major defects and is in very good condition. It even still has the original price sticker on the tube. And the informational sticker on the cap! You'll probably not see a nicer example of one of these anywhere, thanks for looking and happy bidding!

The aluminum case is a bit beat up. But it has done its job and kept the rod in pristine condition. 3. Missing the yellow rod case. This is a spin cast pole the handle can be turned around. This auction is for a Wright& McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster travel rod. It is a combination fly rod and spinning rod. On the rod its says No. 6TMU. Line 7, F8. The six piece rod comes with a 15" aluminum tube and cloth sock. It is 6' 9" long. It is in very good condition with no damage or defects. You may have to polish and lubricate the ferrule inserts. As they fit very tightly. I don't think this rod was used for a while. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. I have another travel rod and fishing lures on auction this week.

Rod is made of what appears to be fiberglass and is in really good condition. With minor wear. It appears to have been barely used, or very well cared for. Aluminum case is also in good condition. This would be perfect for any fisher-person, it would be an ideal travel pole and would be fabulous for backpackers and hikers or to keep in the car for every day fishing opportunities. It offers the rugged safety and durability of a sturdy, sealed aluminum case with screw top(chain connects lid to canister to prevent loss) It also features an interior cloth pouch that has pockets to hold pole parts, simply roll up the pole parts inside the cloth pouch and insert the pouch into the aluminum case. No more broken pole ... moreparts and costly repairs/replacements. The canister also has loops for a strap, but it isn't included, one could potentially make their own, or use a clip to clip to a backpack or belt. With Spring/Summer right around the corner, this would be the perfect piece of equipment to add to the camp gear box. Rod is approximately 6'9" when fully assembled, case is approximately 17" long, reel isn't included, listing is just for 6 pieces that make one fishing rod, one cloth storage pouch, and one aluminum case.
