Garcia Conolon Two Star Spinning Fishing Rod Light Action Fast Taper
You're bidding on a Garcia Conolon Light Action Fast Taper Two Star Spinning Fishing Rod. It has been shortened. It should be 7 feet long but is only 6’ and 8” long. So. I would say the action is more of a medium action than light action. It does show some marks to the finish and some staining on the cork, but nothing too major. Mechanics are nice and the guides may have a little light speckling of rust, but not much if any. The bottom guide on the tip section must have come off at one time, because it has been re-wrapped with a lighter color blue thread as opposed to the darker blue thread of the other guides. Can’t make out the lure size but it is designed for 4-8 lb. line originally, but since it is short, I would say 6-12 lb. line. The model number is 2610-D. The rod is maroon in color, Has 6 guides, a hook keeper, cork handle, maroon aluminum reel seat, a raised red letter"g"in the butt, and is in very good condition. This is a two piece rod the butt end measures 28"and the tip section 52" Guides are clean and wrappings are excellent. Has 6 guides and a hook keeper, cork handle, bronze aluminum reel seat, a letter"g"on the end of the butt, and is in good condition. Only flaw in a split in the plastic binding in front of the cork handle.see last picture) This is a two piece rod with a cork handle. Guides are clean and wrappings are excellent. Being offered for auction is a vintage Garcia Conolon 3125B light action fast taper spinning rod. Size: The rod is marked and measures 6 1/2 feet long Condition: The rod is an excellent condition. It shows light us with no defects to note. In pictures 6 and 7 there is soiling/dirt on the foam handles and there is scuffing on the tightening nut. The line guides are tight and straight. In picture 9 you will see crazing to the clear coat over whipping of the line guide. The pictures show the condition better than I can describe.
