Visually immaculate. No marks at all that I can see, the pictures will show you all you need to know. Suitable for light spinning. Match fishing or trotting, especially good in windy conditions. Hi, You are bidding for a very nice late example of the legendary ABU Svangsta ABU 444A Spinning reel built in Sweden where quality is tradition. She is finished in the now customary Cardinal green and ivory and suffers little paint loss as can be seen in photos. She has seen little and only careful use and shows very little sign of wear. The ABU 444 appeared in the very first English speaking edition of ABU Tight Lines in 1956 having being introduced to the Swedish market a year earlier in 1955. Here we have a nice example of the ABU 505 Svangsta. Classic closed face reel. This reel is in excellent order with just a few minor marks to the paintwork. Largely on the spool cover, to show for it's age and use. The reel works smoothly just as it should. Including the anti-reverse and the handle mounted star drag control.
