It is in good used condition with some usage wear and tarnish(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is a nice brass and alloy Malloch Sidecaster reel and is in good working order with good wind. Good check and freespool. Good brass foot and connections also. There is some slight tarnish/oxidising of the inner alloy spool but cleanable. It has a good face and is stamped Malloch of Perth and Engraved Pape of Newcastle. The plating is discoloured and lightly marked but all natural wear. It has the tiniest almost unnoticable crack above the Malloch stamp which I have tried to show in the picture(not even sure if it is a crack though but just to be accurate. Here is a nice pair of vintage fishing reels. They are in good honest used condition. One with some oxidising(see clear pictures to decide before bidding) They are both reels made by J. W. Young of Redditch and there is a nice Condex reel in gunmetal grey with little wear but in nice working order with nice smooth wind and constant check. There is also a nice early Ambidex reel with a half bale and is in good working order with clean bale click over but slight issues with the paint wear. Certainly one for the c ollection- Rarely seen for sale. I still have one of the lowest postal structures for the items I sell if you check around. Tight lines. A NICE SCARCE VINTAGE BRASILIAN? MADE OPEN FACED SPINNING REEL DEHN SPOT
Here is a nice scarce vintage fishing reel. It is in good clean condition with slight paint loss/wear(see clear pictures to decide before bidding) It is the Dehn Spot spinning reel and is well made and in working order. Nice bale click and ratchet working on smooth wind. I have found some information that leads me to a Brasilian Company. Possibly Tramontina who made reels and sports equipment from the early 60's up to late 80's amongst other stuff. The reel is marked Ind.Bras(Industry Brasiland) Dehn Spot on the side. I believe this to be quite a rare reel- I have never seen one before at all other than this one. Any other information helpful so please email me. A NICE SCARCE VINTAGE PAIR OF J.W. YOUNG OF REDDITCH FLY REELS, BEAUDEX, SPEEDEX
Here is a nice scarce vintage pair of Redditch made fishing reels. They are in good honest used condition(see clear pictures to decide before bidding and email me with any questions or issues relating to my description) There is a nice Beaudex reel. Cosmetically clean and good and in working order but has the centre disc damaged but spool release is fine and working so I class it as in working order with a clear loaded fly line. I have also with it a centre disc that may work but I have not tried it. There is also a Speedex reel which is not fully working and slips on the wind so I am classing this as a repair or spares reel which should be great for someone!
