A pretty. Hardy Perfect look alike, made by Walker Bampton of Alnwick in the same era. This is in first class condition with no damage-it has an unaltered brass foot, is stamped Walker Bampton to back plate, is 3 1/2" wide and has a brass tension wheel. Here we have for auction a J.J.S. walker Bampton Alnwick 3.5" fly reel. White crazed handle which turns freely. Brass screw set on nickel rim. Alloy straight foot set with two screws. Light line groove to one of the pillars. Retaining a very good overall leaded finish. Steel pawl& check gear. Sounds a delightful crisp click from the constant check.
