An exceptionally fine and rare Hardy Brothers of Alnwick. 4" 1/4 Brass Face Perfect Salmon fly reel presented in outstanding original condition. With smooth correct brass foot, bridged rim mounted tension adjuster with turks head locking nut, ivorine handle, patented 1903 square line guard and 1904 heavyweight check and nickel silver drum retaining screw. Reel is right hand wind and has a very strong check.
