It was made in France ... moreand is so marked on the back of the spool cover. There is a number on the foot which is 641593. Cosmetically, the reel is in pretty decent shape, as are the graphics. There is a little rub on the black finish at the back of the frame and two small spots on the spool cover. Mechanically, the reel is in good working order. The action is smooth and the anti-reverse, clicking and drag mechanisms all work fine. The bail is strong. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the condition of this reel. I ship internationally with the exception of anywhere in South America. This is a Mitchell 305 5/1 ratio spinning reel made by Garcia of France. It is in excellent condition with all parts in good working order. It looks like it was used very little. There is a little paint missing along one edge. See pix#7, otherwise no flaws. I have included lots of pix so you can really see how nice it is. The box is also in excellent but not new condition. Has a little wear at corners an oil where reel lays. Extra reel looks not to be used at all. Shipping weight is 1-2lbs Priority Mail.

Vintage - Garcia Mitchell Match (Stripped & Polished) High Speed Fishing Reel
A Garcia Mitchell Match(stripped and polished) high Speed fishing reel. With two roller bearings and the higher speed retrieval gears, longer arm and torpedo handle. Stainless steel screws on the cover plate. It has been paint stripped and polished(not easy as normal paint stripper does not touch the paint used on later Mitchell reels) its not a perfect mirror polish as it is cast aluminum and can only be polished to a point. It looks great and could be used without fear of damaging any paintwork, it has been serviced and works well. The reel has a shallow match spool fitted. The bailarm. Anti reverse and bail arm lock works as it should, the bail arm chrome is fairly good and bright with a few marks and wear. A nice vintage match reel to use. up for consideration is a mint 440 otomatic/auto bail mitchell spinning reel. please look at pics. They describe the reel better than i can. if you wish to see a picture of another area i have a couple spots left that i can post 2 more pics. this reel is a 1970 model according to the numbers(A513377) it also has the rare manual, look for one of these on ebay. old lube has been removed and replaced with high tech lube in case you want to fishwith this reel. the large/deep spool has a removeable filler/arbor so it takes less line to fill the spool. for the folks that are not famillar with these auto bail reels- just put pressure on the bail wire with your forefinger, cast and release the bail, just turn the crank and the bail wire closes. feel free to ask any questions about this reel, don,t cost nuttun. thanks for looking

Hi folks you are looking at my auction for the fantastic: GARCIA MITCHELL 300A DOUBLE SILVER BAND. This was manufactured in France early 80s from memory. Hi there your looking at one nice example of this classic 300A fishing reel. It has only had one user(myself) and since I moved away from the Midlands it has sat in a case in a dry draw in the house. It remains in great condition. MECHANICALLY SPOT ON AND IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER. She has a beautiful silky smooth and free left-handed wind. However the manual bail arm return's doesnt always go back to the full position but it does work. Also the optional anti-reverse lever lock's in with a instant once engaged just like it should. And the Manual pick-up produce's a delightful anti-reverse ticking from the Mitchell gearing. She has some paint rubbing to both ends of the foot. ... moreAlso has minor marks around the double silver foil information band and in other areas. Besides that the rest of the black paint finish and chrome work is in excellent condition as you can see. The end of the handle is looking a bit faded but works as it should. A Garcia Mitchell 410 high Speed fishing reel. With two roller bearings and the higher speed retrieval gears, longer arm with a torpedo handle. The serial number on the foot looks like E or F 049302(1975 or 1976) The paintwork has some paint loss on the foot. Some on the bottom of the body and cover, the spool holder has some paint loss(worse side shown in photo) The reel has a shallow spool fitted and a spare deep spool. The bailarm. Anti reverse works as it should. The bail arm chrome is fairly dull with some use marks. A serviced reel to use or collect.

Mitchell Garcia 600p fishing reel. Have had this tucked away for a few years- now it's time to go. Seems to be in perfect working order- I have never tried to cast with it- living in the midlands there is not much call for beachcasting: Everything seems smooth. Anti reverse works as does the clicker. Tube of grease seems quite full, box is a bit tatty but not too bad for something which I believe is around 40 years old.

Boxed Garcia Mitchell 410 Fishing Reel. Toggle anti reverse type. The paperwork is a Garcia information booklet which has a detached cover from the rest of the booklet. Due to a rusty staple with a two piece guarantee card, their is some age related discolouring etc, no major tears or rips or writing, just age oil and maybe water damage over its life. The box and yellow tray are in a good condition. With no cracks, fairly nice used condition as its over 40 years old, hard to find in this condition. The serial number is 7584925(1967 summer of love) with just 410 on the clam box. T he body has small paint loss on the spool and very small marks on the foot see photo`s.
