Here we have for auction a 4" Reuben Heaton spineback fishing reel in a stunning condition complete with beautiful chunky wooden handles set on petite circular brass plates and a brass sliding line agate- which finishes this reel off perfectly! The spool turns nice& smooth on the turn and one good spin will see the spool return many revolutions with absolutely no wobble! A very well made. Solid reel from Victorian maker Reuben Heaton. Stamped twice to the top and bottom of the line agate Heatons patent and the patent number, which I can't quite read! Vintage Reuben Heaton 3 3/8"Alloy Centrepin Reel
This is a working example of the Reuben Heaton cast alloy centrepin Reel. The reel measures 3 3/8" in diameter and is in usable condition. The pictures probably tell a better story of this than I can. the reel spins well. The only downside is the small chip in the rim. The start price reflects this small fault. selling a nice vintage reuben heaton built brass trout reel in very nice clean condition and in perfect working order. Vintage Antique 4" Reuben Heaton brass & wood wooden Nottingham fishing reel
Here we have for auction an unnamed 4" Reuben Heaton Nottingham fishing reel in an absolutely beautiful condition complete with beautifully marked bulbos horn handles set on brass plates. Thick cut brass to the starback, large butterfly spool nut, brass lined to the backplate& convexed brass flange to the spool, bell shaped check latch& brass calliper, pawl and pawl gear. This quality reel has a very strong optional check that when switched over sounds a nice firm click with a chime from the brass. With the check off the spool turns nice& smooth on the turn and one good spin will see the spool return many revolutions with absolutely no wobble!
