Made In West Germany. This reel seems to work good. It turns good/smooth. On the shaft of the reel handle it has a turn nut, you can turn it to fold the handle for storage. At the base of the reel handle there is a small lever, you can move it up and the reel will only turn reverse, go to the middle position and the reel can turn either way and go to the lower and it will turn only forward. I think the handle can be mounted on the right side as well so it can be used right or left handed. As you look at the pictures you will notice there is mainly paint wear. I opened the bail and turned the reel handle and the bail closed like it should. DAM GERAT QUALITAT EVEREADY 3125 VINTAGE SMALL OVERHEAD FISHING REEL
G/day.I have this very small overhead reel that is branded DAM GERAT QUALITAT on the handle side and EVEREADY 3125 on the back end(see photos) The little reel seems to work great including the ratchet and has a lovely moulded pattern on the handle.There are a few cosmetic faults but no breaks or rust etc.The handles are good. It only weighs 0.18kg and the line on it should be replaced.This would do many more fishing trips and be a great talking point as I have never seen one like it before.Please check my other items for sale and have fun cheers Mark.

Vintage DAM Quick Super, Twin Speed, Fixed Spool Reel. Spiiner, Beach Caster
This is a DAM. Quick Super Surf Reel. It is a Beachcasting Reel and is made in West Germany. The reel is used and carries the marks and scars you might expect from a used reel. There is no evidence of excessive corrosion which can sometimes blight these reel. The reel is a twin speed reel and by moving the red knob you can change the retrieval rates. They are about 2-1 or 3 1/2- 1. The bail arm closes efficiently but as said above the reel sounds a bit like a diesel car rather than a petrol car. It may benefit from some internal greasing. Vintage DAM Fly Reel. 4200/115. Excellent. Boxed.
This is a first class example of the DAM Alloy Fly Reel. The reel measures 3 1/4" in diameter. It is equipped with a ratchet, tension adjuster and an agate line guide. The reel is loaded with what is probably a silk line which is well greased and may be fishable. The reel is certainly a good one to use if you are of a mind and would not look out of place on a collectors shelf. As you can see from the pictures the reel has two oval frames on the back plate. One of which states Berlin and the other states DAM, Fabrikat, Berlin. The reel is lightly used and the only signs of use are the few scratches to the rims near the foot. The box has some light rubbing but is sound. If you have any questions please get in touch.
