I have 5 old vintage 1940/ 50's Alvey's(4) 1 large Jarvis walker spinning reel all fishing reels in working condition. It is part of a collection. There is 1 alvey rosewood spool chome backed 650/ A3/ 7. 1 Alvey Bakelite& chrome backed 550 Reel, Fibreglass Alvey 650/ A5/ 7 surf champion reel spool has small repair but still OK& working, 1 Alvey rosewood spool& chrome back 500/ A3 reel. The other reel is a large Jarvis walker X 7500 spinning surf reel. All reels need a small clean but this is how they were found but all work, 2 reels have 1 handle missing as per photo's which forms part of my description. A1 stunning vintage SE cooke loncast sidecast threadline fishing reel + box
for sale here is a very beautiful little reel. Its a loncast threadline fishing reel by s.e. cooke, manufactured at trafford works, north road, burnt oak, middlesex, as seen on the sticker on the original box, the reel is quite rarely seen and the condition is simply fantastic with no flaws at all, fantastic collectors lot this one, please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week.

Sidecast Fishing Reel 5 3/4"
A home made sidecast reel with a retractable power handle. Permanent anti-reverse and push button sidecast mechanism. The reel is 5 3/4" in diameter with a 2 1/2" wide spool. The spool looks to be Oregon timber, the back plate aluminium and the back strap and reel foot are brass. The reel has a drag system with two thrust ball bearings on either side or the spool. The anti-reverse is incorporated in the crank handle. This is certainly an interesting piece of fishing memorabilia displaying the inventiveness of anglers past.

This is an old 6" side cast reel. I don't know how old it is. I can't find any names on it. As is as I found it. I would rather a collector or someone that knows about it clean it up.
