Here is a nice vintage Scottish made fishing reel. It is in good used condition with some usage wear and tarnish(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is a nice brass and alloy fly reel and is in working order with fairly good wind and constant check. The plating is discoloured and marked but all natural wear. It is stamped with the maker's name Arthur Allen Ltd. Glasgow. It has a diameter of approx 3+ inches. hi for consideration here I have 2 vintage fishing reels. Firstly is a vintage hardy 3.5 inch lightweight fly reel in ok condition I would say, quite some paint loss and chips, it spins well enough and has a correct smooth alloy foot, inside it has a double check mechanism, secondly is a vintage alloy and what must be brass with a tortoise shell pattern, this reel measures 3 and has a slightly wobbly bone handle with constant check, the foot is ever so slightly wobbly as well, it also has brass pillars, but again it spins ok, posted recorded delivery thanks for looking and good luck, ps please take a look at my other vintage items for sale thank you please make payment as soon as possible to avoid a delay in posting as I fish most days. Here we have a smooth working example of the Leeda Rimfly Regular Alloy Fly Reel& Spare Spool. Really excellent British fly reel, three and a half inches in diameter. A real quality classic item, probably over 40 years old now but in excellent condition, showing very light signs of use in the most minor of marks. This fine looking reel in black& silver works just as it should including the variable check lever(no feeling of wear here) and quick release spool. A classic alloy fly reel for the collector or just as it should be for catching fish. The reel is loaded with a(marked on spool) floating line and the spare spool has a slow sinking line.
