Vintage Antique Brass Lamp Finial, Hand Hammered Arts & Crafts, fits on Lamp Rod
Here is an old Arts& Crafts or Mission brass lamp finial. We think this was hand formed and not cast. It looks like it was turned on a metal lathe and then hand hammered. You can see the evidence of both steps when you look at the bottom of the finial. With the rings from the lathe turning or machining step and the dings around the edge from the hammering step. It is about 1 1/4 inches tall. This finial has a larger threaded hole designed to fit onto standard lamp rod(shown in the final photo) so it may have been designed to be the top of a floor lamp or the top of a table lamp. The finish has mellowed or darkened over the years with tarnish, giving it a nice patina. It has the simple shape that you would expect from an Arts& Crafts movement piece.

Old Vintage Lamp Light Finial, Brass with Green Alabaster Stone,fits on Lamp Rod
Here is an old lamp finial with a stone at the top. This finial is made from solid brass. And the stone is green alabaster that has been ground and polished. It is about 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 3/8 inches wide. The larger threaded hole fits onto standard lamp rod, so this may have been originally used at the bottom of a ceiling light fixture or the top of a floor lamp. The finish of the brass has mellowed or darkened a little bit from tarnish over the years. It will look more appropriate on an old lamp than a shiny new finial. Changing the finial is an easy way to change the look of your lamp.

An original vintage English brass muzzle barrel cap. It is very well made. With a tight spring mechanism that applies pressure to the muzzle cap itself. The top sleeve slot which fits over the front sight is in excellent shape. There are no distortions to the round cover cap, which is 5/8 inches in diameter.
