Each turn of the handle turns the drum around twice. 3 1/2" or 90mm diameter. Drum width 1" or 25mm inside the plates, weight 358gms. In excellent working order. No wear or wobble, nice crisp check and free turning handles. The grey paint finish has some damage inside the drum plates where the line goes but the outside of the reel looks really good. Rare Abu Ambassadeur 5000c 4 screw model. foot number 34686. Rare. Vintage ambassadeur 5000c, 4 screw version. foot number 34686. a super chance to add to your vintage reel collection here with this very early ambassadeur dating from the 1960's. Superb working order. Still a great smooth reel to fish with but probably destined for the cabinet. Lovely chrome sits well against the black side plates and handle, smooth clutch and tough gearing allow you to play your catch, whilst the stainless bearings allow for some smooth casting. Dual tension control aids casting too whatever the conditions or lure size. The chrome is in very good clean condition, the plates have had scattered wear sympathetically touched in to avoid future issues. Once again a great reel to fish or collect. for sale here is a very very rarely seen reel. Its a"zenith multiplier" barely, 3.5" size, 1& 1/8ths wide drum model, 2 screw drum release, left or right wind, reversible lineguard, rim tension, good and clean example with some wear to the paint finish and a small patch or lacquer loss on the front as can be seen, mechanically excellent with good strong check, straight unfiled alloy foot, you almost never ever see the multiplier version of this stunning reel. please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week.items will be posted as soon as paid, i dont mark individual items as despatched because they are always posted right away
