for sale here is a lovely little vintage early model millwards flymaster which was built by JW youngs circa late 1950s and is basically a beaudex. Rear tension, ebonite 2 screw drum release with no cracks to the centre boss, 3" size, lineguard, patent ergo grip handle, twin checks and set for RHW but can be used for LHW too albeit the rear tension and the lineguard will be obsolete, 2 screw foot good and straight, good strong check, overall the reel is in good condition with no buckles dents or damage, other than a bit of paint wear and a little loss of chrome finish on one corner of the lineguard its a lovely little user reel, please view my other items for sale, item will be posted right away once paid for.

A NICE SCARCE VINTAGE PAIR OF JW YOUNG & SON FISHING REELS, CONDEX AND AMBIDEX
Here is a nice pair of vintage fishing reels. They are in good honest used condition. One with some oxidising(see clear pictures to decide before bidding) They are both reels made by J. W. Young of Redditch and there is a nice Condex reel in gunmetal grey with little wear but in nice working order with nice smooth wind and constant check. Vintage - made by JW Young for Shakespeare super convex 4" fly fishing reel
Here we have for auction a 4" JW Young made Shakespeare Super Condex loaded with line. Ebonite handle which turns freely set on nickel rim. Alloy straight foot. Chrome cage. No line grooves or damage to the rims or pillars. Retaining good overall leaded finish but small amount of paint loss& very small piece of alloy corrosion. Sounds a delightful crisp click from the constant check. Turns smoothly& freely with no wobble. Very nice example to display or fish! Check out my other similar reels.
