Up for auction is this very nice Bronson Safari 4800 baitcasting reel. These are getting harder to find. Especially in this condition. It rather modernistic in design, and, at first glance, it's to tell which is the front and which is the back. It has several very light scratches on the side plates, especially just in front of the handle, but none are glaringly conspicuous. One of the knobs wants to hang up a little, but it still works fine. There is a tiny nick in the big red agate jewel located on the handle nut- again nothingconspicuous. A tough oldie for your collection. My pictures are always of the actual item(s) so please use the pictures to verify what it is being offered, as well as condition. Bronson Buddy No 800 Fishing Reel
For auction today is a Bronson Buddy No 800 spinning reel. Not sure of the exact manufacture date on this reel but it appears to be un-used and in perfect condition. Box has a little shelf wear but other than that this is surely a gem. Bought this reel primarily because I liked the color combination on such an old reel and did want to have a few reels in my collection that were early American products. For your consideration I am listing a very nice and great working vintage Bronson(UNDER THE HANDLE) Professional No. 63 fishing reel mounted to a Bronson Professional two piece fiberglass rod. The reel is in perfect working condition. It was taken apart, cleaned out and new grease was installed on the internal moving parts. The rod is in original condition having it's original eyelets and eyelet wrappings. There is no rust on the eyelets. The cork on the handle is in excellent condition with no repairs. The housing on the reel and the reel attachment are on the rod were cleaned and painted with ACE satin black oil base paint. When assemble the rod is 78" long. 2 Spincast & 2 baitcast REELS 4 Total -Ocean City, Bronson Meteor, Revelation
This auction is for four reels. One is a baitcast model; Bronson Meteor 1500. Another baitcast model is an Ocean City 1591, this one is pretty nice) and two of them are spincast reels. One spincast is a Revelation V-1599 and the other spincast is a South Bend no. 107. All four of these reels are in working order including the LEVELWINDS, with the exception of tight handle knobs on he baitcasters and what looks like one part that may be missing on the Bronson. It seems to work, but there is no drag adjustment on the left side. I just noticed this, so I will try to get a pic of that side posted soon. They could use some soap and water and a steel wool pad for the Bronson and, some new line. I picked them up at a yard sale because I am a sucker for reels and fishing items, but I am primarily into saltwater fishing and Penn reels. I'm just ... moregetting rid of some of the things I collected and will never use. Items are packed very well and shipped fast.
