With no cracks, fairly nice used condition as its over 40 years old, hard to find in this condition, the yellow tray has a piece broken off, see photo`s. Mitchell Reel Handle. A few minor marks on the alloy handle and wear on the plastic handle knob and screw commensurate with age. Where applicable the Hi-speed red/ blue decal on the reel hub may be scratched or missing. This is a cosmetic anomaly commensurate with the age and used of the reclaimed handle, the price has been reduced to take this into account Unlike most handles of this type that come up on E-Bay as spares there is no deformity or bending in the handle shafts. I only kept the good handles for re-use and chucked the bent and battered ones in the bin. Going for a bargain price to clear shelf space in my new shed workshop. a very nice vintage Mitchell Pre 300 fishing reel half bail 3rd Version S/N A68806 from the 1950.S Pre 300 it also comes with a rare early box top it has some stains rubs scratches and some wear to the edges however the box is good and strong and has the handle holder still inside overall good condition and the bottom box in poor condition and is missing the reel insert portion the reel does show some wear it has some paint rubs to the rotor foot lower case a small dint on the front of the spool i will supply a good used spool in place of the dinted one the handle knob stuck from turning appears to be from lack of use this aside the reel looks a treat and operates fine it is in excellent condition and would make a very nice addition to any Mitchell reel collection.
