Up for sale is a mint condition Allcocks Match Aerial 4.5" centrepin reel. This reel is from my personal collection. The reel retains 90% all of its original finish. And the only paint missing is rubbed off around the rim, and a small patch(about 5 mm x 5 mm) on the inside of the spool. The remaining finish is perfect, and all the parts are original. Spins flawlessly, with a small hint of a wobble which is un-noticeable and does not affect its function. Vintage - Garcia Mitchell Match (Stripped & Polished) High Speed Fishing Reel
A Garcia Mitchell Match(stripped and polished) high Speed fishing reel. With two roller bearings and the higher speed retrieval gears, longer arm and torpedo handle. Stainless steel screws on the cover plate. It has been paint stripped and polished(not easy as normal paint stripper does not touch the paint used on later Mitchell reels) its not a perfect mirror polish as it is cast aluminum and can only be polished to a point. It looks great and could be used without fear of damaging any paintwork, it has been serviced and works well. The reel has a shallow match spool fitted. The bailarm. Boxed Allcocks Match Aerial Vintage Centrepin Fishing Reel
A fine example of this reel in excellent overall condition and full working order. 4 ½” in diameter. And a spool width of approximately 9/16 th of an inch. Model C340 was introduced by Allcocks in 1965 and was produced until 1971. It was by far the most popular Aerial style reel. All aerials were manufactured for Allcocks to retail by J W Young& Co and the inside back plate for this reel is impressed JWY 468. This indicates a casting date of April 1968. So the reel was probably made shortly thereafter. Comes complete with original box that is showing its age.

Hi folks you are looking at my auction for the fantastic: GARCIA MITCHELL 300A DOUBLE SILVER BAND. This was manufactured in France early 80s from memory. Hi there your looking at one nice example of this classic 300A fishing reel. It has only had one user(myself) and since I moved away from the Midlands it has sat in a case in a dry draw in the house. It remains in great condition. MECHANICALLY SPOT ON AND IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER. She has a beautiful silky smooth and free left-handed wind. However the manual bail arm return's doesnt always go back to the full position but it does work. Also the optional anti-reverse lever lock's in with a instant once engaged just like it should. And the Manual pick-up produce's a delightful anti-reverse ticking from the Mitchell gearing. A Blue Mitchell 440A Match. Its a high Speed fishing reel, with two roller bearings and the higher speed retrieval gears and longer retrieve arm. A blue zip up reel bag to keep it in. The serial number looks like K213507. The paintwork is fair on the spool holder with a little missing and some bubbling. Some paint is aso missing on the foot and some on the base, the cover has a little paint missing, generally it is a nice looking reel. The bail arm. Lock works as it should, the bail arm chrome is bright and in good condition with a few marks. The anti reverse works as it should. The reel has a shallow Match spool fitted and a spare match spool in a clear screw top pot. Its a nice smooth serviced thirtyish year old reel. One to fish with or collect.

Here we have a smooth working example of the great Mitchell 440A Match. Autobail reel, made in France. This is a quality modern classic complete with a spare spool in it's case. Cosmetically the reel is in near mint condition. There is just a scrape to the blue paintwork on the reel foot, where the reel has been on a rod. It works just as it should including the auto dab type bail arm. On/off anti-reverse, the front drag control and the quick release spool. For the collector. The serial number on the reel foot is K830601 which dates it to 1980.

The reel comes with a alloy cased, Ultra Light Spare Spool. The chap who owned this. Used it but also cared for it. There are very few signs of use and it operates very efficiently. Vintage Allcock 'Match' Aerial, 4 1/2" Centre Pin Reel. Boxed.
This is a very nice example of the Allcock'Match' Aerial. 4 1/2" Centre Pin Reel. The reel was being used until fairly recently and he was clearly a person who looked after his kit. The reel spins very well and operates smoothly. It has a solid rear flange and a spoked front flange to the spool. Two of the opposing spokes carry the line tensioner and the spool release catch. The backplate carries the makers Trade Disk. It also has the on/off ratchet switch. The reel is finished in a black enamelled style coating. The box tells the story of the reels heritage in that it is produced under the Shakespeare Noris Decals. The box carries the the reels model number which is C340. Vintage Blue Garcia Mitchell Match - 1975 Classic High Speed Fishing Reel
A Blue Garcia Mitchell Match high speed auto fishing reel with a twist handle. The serial number looks like C143993(1973) The paint is fairly good. With some missing on the foot and spool holder see photo`s. The reel has a shallow match spool fitted. The bailarm. Anti reverse works as it should, the bail arm chrome is fairly good with some marks and wear. A decent vintage serviced Match reel to use. If you have any questions please ask.

Daiwa TD1350DM Match Reel, complete with 3 Spools
We have here my match Reel that I no longer use as I have gone over to a Pole for fishing. It is in VGC. I recently spooled on 4lb Korum specimen Line on to one of the Reels Spools. There are no chips or missing Paint to the Reel. It has always been kept in a Pouch when not in use. If there are any questions I will endeavour to answer them. I should add that the Reel could possibly use a service.
