The reel comes with all you see in the picture as well as on the reel itself 20 lb. white Dacron backing and a Rio Grand WF5F fly line, camo/tan in color. This really is a nice reel with a smooth disc drag. Just slight wear on the frame and spool. Set up for left hand retrieve but can be changed to right hand. Probably fits best on a 4 or 5 wt. rod. The etched portion, you cannot even feel it, and is smooth as the reel and super small, barely noticable. No. 4870 A classic loop fly reel made in Sweden. A very early 1.5 large arbor. No 4870. Comes with a 5wt RIO LT line. Gently used. Reel seat strong. No wiggles at all. Some wear on the bottom of the reel. No flat spots in the wheels. A must for some collectors. The reel is extremely smooth but has no center post or drag. Instead the spool is suspended on a cage of six sealed and tapered roller bearings. So where's the drag you ask? It doesn't need one. A lot of people get worried when one says this about fly reels but their main purpose is to be a line holder. The main problem with any spool type reel is fouling and backlash. This reel conquers that. No matter how a hot fish may run; the reel just keeps enough tension on the line to keep the reel from over winding and back lashing. A lot of people couldn't get past the idea that ... morea drag isn't really necessary on this reel and a lot of other reels were built with drags to satisfy the market. I quickly learned to control the drag by changing the attitude of the rod and gently palming the bottom of the spool. The trade off is a reel that won't foul or stick and a spindle that won't bend because there isn't one. I also found that I could get away with lighter tippets because my tackle was a little more forgiving. This reel is a little over thirty years old and the forerunner of a lot of large spool reels.
