Billy Pate Bonefish fly reel in mint condition. Anti-reverse. Left hand retrieve. Bought new several years ago for a trip to Florida and never used again. Comes with 30# Dacron backing loaded but no line. Has a foam stick-on pad added to the foot to fit my reel seat, can be peeled off if you don't need it. The neoprene cozy has a couple of stains, one of which is visible in the photos- may come out in the wash, I haven't tried. Thanks for looking.

Redington Rise 2 Reel 9/10wt Saltwater Redfish Tarpon Snook Bonefish Fly Fishing
You are looking at a used Redington Rise 2 fly fishing reel. It is for 8/9/10 wt lines and meant for bigger types of fish. The reel is the mantis green color. And comes with 30 lb backing and what I believe is a 10wt weight forward line. I bought the reel and line from a guy who was closing his fly shop and this was a store display. It was never fished before I bought it and I have fished it probably 5 times, though I now need to sell it to pay some bills. It is in good condition over all, and fishes very well, I've used it in saltwater but very thoroughly cleaned it every time. Dual dogs, Cork drag washer, Ball bearing, Triple screw reel seat I do not know the line capacity This one has a serial number low enough that it marks it as one of the original Emery reels. These are reels that John Emery had made before his unfortunate death. All of John's reels were silent in both directions. RH retrieve. And I don't believe there's a way to convert it. If you see what appears to be flecks in the photo's. It is simply dust. I have personally shown this reel to one of the people who had a hand in the original design and build of these Emery reels(and was a good friend of John's) They have told me that this reel is the smaller size of the two sizes built. All smaller ... moresize reels were numbered with five digits. And this is definitely#00041. He and I opened the reel up to check its condition, and it was excellent. The drag knob is scuffed up but can be replaced with a drag knob from an old brand of spinning reel that these reels originally were supplied with At the time these original model reels were built I was personally acquainted with John Emery when he was working at J. Lee Cuddy Assoc. A rod builders supply shop) on 79th Street in Miami. Florida and saw the very first models fresh from the makers bench. This is a Billy Pate Tibor Bonefish fly fishing reel in anti-reverse with right hand retrieve. I bought it thinking I would use it for steelhead. But at this point don't need it. They are designed for 7, 8, or 9 weight lines with appropriate backing. The anti-reverse is designed to protect those knuckles during fast runs from fish like the Bonefish it is named for. It is in very good used condition with some very minor rim rash that I tried to show in the second to last photo. There is also some light scratching on the back which is shown in the photo of the back(last photo) Comes with factory neoprene case which is in pretty good shape with the camoflague lining. Lamson Saltwater Series Bonefish Fly Reel, Mint.
Another mint one owner fly reel from my collection. Lamson SW Bonefish. This comes with a neoprene pouch. And the original literature. It's a beauty, not a scratch on it. It is set up for R/H retrieve, and the instructions cover switching it. I do not have the specs on this, it is an approx. 7-9 weight. I used it with a 7 weight line for a saltwater trip, and I've used it with a 9 weight sink tip for Steelhead a few times. It has the sink tip on it now, so I will leave that on in case the buyer is a steel-header. Reel is 3-1/2" in diameter, and the spool width is 15/16" This has a cork drag, and ball bearings, and has been properly stored with the drag backed off. Shipping $7 Conus. Paypal only.
