House of Hardy the Princess fly reel w/line and case
This reel is in prime condition. No parts are missing. It can either be used right or left handed it also comes equipped 4 weight sinking line and its original case. The reel is 4/5 weight there is no functional flaws and the drag works perfectly fine, there is only slight cosmetic damage around the reel release and a few dings around the frame(only noticeable upon close examination) it is well greased and the gears turn smoothly I haven't been able to find another used one on ebay that is in as good shape as this one.

From the estate of IGFA and IWFA champion. 10:1 Club and 1980 Hall of Fame member, Cynthia Church Boomhower. Mrs. Boomhower was a descendant of Austin Church, founder of Church and Dwight. This reel was kept in a display case in her Palm Beach home. It is in like new condition and believed to be a family heirloom. The House of Hardy or Hardy brothers have been making industry leading fly fishing equipment for well over 50 years. This is a machined Aluminium fly fishing reel that was made in the 70's years before anyone else decided to make fly reels the same way. This reel is in great condition and has held it's age well. The reel is 88m in diameter. it is 26 mm wide and the spool has an internal width of 18 mm. It comes with a Hardy 6 weight sink tip Double Taper fly line on one spool it is the green one in the photo's.
