MARRYAT MR8.5 flyfishing reel with two extra spools
MARRYAT MR8.5 flyfishing reel in excellent condition. I purchased them around 1980. Reel with sinking line was used once and all have been stored since. Comes with two extra spools. Currently has flyline on main spool- I believe it is a weight forward 7 weight with 100 yds of backing. The extra spools have have a W/F 8 F/S line and W/F 8 S line with backing. They come with leather cases for each. I also have the original instructions which show how to set reel for right or left handed use. To click while either sending out or rewinding reel, or no click at all. The reel is currently set up for left handed retrieve.

Up for auction is my early edition Lamson/Waterworks ULA F3 fly fishing reel with extra spool. This reel is in very good condition and has only been used a couple times a year since I purchased it; it functions perfectly. The two spools are different. One has a deep well for oversized line. 7/8 weight, which I have used as an 8 weight for some steelhead fishing. It has been spooled with WF8 Scientific Angles Mastery Series steelhead line. The other spool is loaded with WF6 Rio Trout line and backing. This spool is lighter, without the well, cut straight across the bottom. Both lines are in excellent condition, with butt section and leader. Ready to fish. Please see photos for reference. This is a super versatile set-up, it allows one to cover the 5 through 8 weight range.
