All items, from the smallest to the largest, are crafted to precise standards and made from the highest quality materials. Manufacturing is done by hand, not cast or stamped out en masse, but created one at a time. Machining is done using state-of-the-art CNC machines. Ari has chosen to use the finest materials available including aircraft grade 6060-T6 aluminum, high nickel content stainless steel and exotic titanium. All aluminum parts are carefully anodized to prevent corrosion under the most demanding conditions. Because mechanical strength requireres a certain amount of material, an ATH reel is not the lightest. However by clever design, the weight is held within comfortable limits. ATH Design AR small is an Ari original that does not feature his famous drag. Though called an anti-reverse. A better term might be a slip-spool design. The spool is allowed to slip in the frame and there is an adjustment to control the ease of slippage, much like the Loop Traditinal Model. The neat thing is that it is so simple that there is virtually nothing that can go wrong. The reel features the canted forward foot design and comes in a gorgeous silver finish and was available for only one year. The reel is in good shape. It has a few chips in the paint and minor scratches(normal wear and tear) It works good, the spool release and drag work, when retrieving it is not sticky or sluggish. Right Angle AR 10 Saltwater Fly Reel with Sock
For sale is an anti-reverse fly reel for 9 and 10 weight lines manufactured by the Right Angle Company of Norwalk. CT. Made of bar stock aluminum, the reel is very light weight for its size. Reel comes with 200 yards of high-vis dacron backing. The drag is infinitely adjustable and there is an outgoing click when a fish takes line. There is very slight"boat rash" in two places on the rim of the spool which you can see in the pictures. I have caught stripers, bluefish and false albacore with this reel and it performs very well on hot-running fish. Those of you who know fly reels will recognize how good these reels are. White River CV 2 Fly Reel for 3/4 weight line, right or left handed retrieve
For sale: a White River CV 2 fly reel with line. I bought this reel used and never used it myself. It comes with the line. I think the line is a Cortland 444 WF 4. Floating line. This is a guess on my part. Again, I do not know for sure the weight, type or manufacturer of the line. The reel has seen a bit of use. But functions perfectly and the drag is smooth. This is an Abel Super 8 AR Right hand reel in black with a wood finish knob. I used it on one trip to Florida fishing for Bonefish and Permit. It is in nearly new condition. No scratches or blemishes. I sent it in to Abel at the end of 2014 and just received it back. They cleaned and inspected it, and certified that it is in perfect working order. An excellent condition classic Shakespeare Noris 2111. These reels were built to last and have that classic distinctive double click pawl check. This model is a true right hand retrieve meaning the rod is held in the left hand and the reel operated with the right. This is because of the position of the check mechanism. Double chromed line guards and adjustable drag screw. Reel diameter is 3.25" and spool width is 7/8ths" The capacity for this would be a#WF7 + 50m of backing line. With all pre-owned reels in my possession from part exchange etc they are fully stripped all parts and screws. Replacing the cork, cleaning/lubing and re-stacking the drag washers along with Inspecting the needle bearings and re-packing the bearing hub with saltwater safe synthetic grease(As a note this reel has never been fished in the salt!
