Lamson Lightspeed 2 Hard Alox Fly Reel With EXTRAS!!
I bought this new at Basspro in OK City and paid A LOT of money for it. I quit fly fishing so here is your chance to get an awesome reel cheap. I have fished with it less than 10 times. It has a few little blemishes from setting it down to get a fish off the hook but it functions perfectly. I tried to get pictures of this. I have kept the drag set at 0 and in its case when storing it. It's a 2 which I think is a 4 to 6 weight, it has 6wt Rio line on it that is still in decent shape. I'm throwing in a Rio line cleaning kit, an Orvis sink line, and a few NEW bass flies. I also have the maintenance paperwork to go with it. I'm left handed and it's set for that but the paper work explains how to easily switch it. Lamson has a lifetime warranty on there reels and of all the ones I've owned, this was my favorite. This is probably a couple of generations ago Lamson Litespeed Reel-The Hard Alox model 2 in really excellent shape. It has been fished a few times but it basically unmarked and would be tough to tell from new. It is a remarkably light weight reel and goes well with today's ever lighter in the hand rods. The size makes it ideal for a 5wt but easily handles a 6wt line with 100 yards of 20# backing. Because the reel is a couple of Litespeed generations old I cannot vouch for which spare spools might interchange with this model. I just have too many reels in this weight class and need to cull the herd a bit. I'm guessing you could call Lamson's customer service and find out more details on this reel.
