I purchased the reel in Sept 2012. New. It has been gently used and well cared for. Comes with blank warranty card. Owners guide, original box, neoprene case, sticker and 30 lb Dacron backing. There are 3 tiny scratches that are all in the first photo. The spare spool is the Hard Alox generation before the reel. These are interchangeable. It has some impact rash and slight bend in the palming rim. I bought this on eBay. I filed the bottom side of the palming rim at the bend to keep it from rubbing on the reel frame. Now it is perfectly functional and smooth. It also comes with backing. Dacron. Likely 30 lb test, bit I'm not sure. There is nothing else included with the spool. This is the older model LS1 reel.the small one, not the larger model sold over the past couple years. This is a perfect reel for your small, light weight rods. The reel and spare spools are loaded with backing and Royal Wulff fly lines, all in excellent condition.there are 2wt, 3wt and 4wt WF lines on these. Lamson Litespeed 2 Hard Alox Fly Fishing Reel, 5/6wt Excellent used w/box/papers
This is probably a couple of generations ago Lamson Litespeed Reel-The Hard Alox model 2 in really excellent shape. It has been fished a few times but it basically unmarked and would be tough to tell from new. It is a remarkably light weight reel and goes well with today's ever lighter in the hand rods. The size makes it ideal for a 5wt but easily handles a 6wt line with 100 yards of 20# backing. Because the reel is a couple of Litespeed generations old I cannot vouch for which spare spools might interchange with this model. I just have too many reels in this weight class and need to cull the herd a bit. I'm guessing you could call Lamson's customer service and find out more details on this reel.
