The reel works perfect and flawlessly. The drag is prefect, smooth and has been well lubed and cared for. Never used in the saltwater, only in freshwater. The Reel has signs of normal wear around the outside rim of the reel(which can be seen in the 2nd and 3rd picture, will not affect integrity of reel. One has a deep well for oversized line. 7/8 weight, which I have used as an 8 weight for some steelhead fishing. It has been spooled with WF8 Scientific Angles Mastery Series steelhead line. The other spool is loaded with WF6 Rio Trout line and backing. This spool is lighter, without the well, cut straight across the bottom.
