thanks for looking. this is a Scientific Anglers System 2L 67-L fly reel, with box and manual. The reel is made in England. It has the matte black finish and the tool free left/right hand retrieve conversion. The reel is of standard arbor design, with a 3 inch diameter and a weight of 4.4 oz. Scientific Anglers designated this model of the Light series of the System Two as a 6/7 line class reel, but I think the 2Ls run small for their ratings, and this reel will also work great with 4-5 weight lines,i actually had it on a 3 wt rod.The reel has a nice caliper stainless steel disc drag system. Scientific Angler System Two 45-LC Reel-Rare
Up for auction. Is a Scientific Angler System 2 45-LC spring&pawl reel that is in great condition. No issues except light scuffing on areas of the frame which you can see from the pictures. These reels were made in England in limited production back in the 80's and very few were sold in the US. The outgoing and incoming click is very similar to that of the Hardy LRH reel and the build is really solid. Can easily be switched to left or right hand retrieve. But it is currently in the left hand mode and ready to fish. Along with the reel, I will include a spooled Wulff TT 4wt. line that was on the reel.
