Here is a beautiful Sport King Model 10B fishing reel. This is a trade reel for Bronson and it is stamped/engraved with a great scene of a jumping fish on both side-plates. This reel is in AMAZING condition and looks like it was never used. It works perfectly with a strong clicker. Great level wind gear, good dual pawl, and spins very easily. It displays and shines very well with the jeweled end-caps as seen in the photos. It will definitely make a great addition to a collection of engraved reels or Bronson reels. I think it would be very hard to find a nicer example and you will not be disappointed with the condition of this one. As Bronson did on many of their reels. Here is a nice Bronson trade reel. A Great Lakes no. 3129200. This reel is in OUTSTANDING condition! I don't believe this reel was ever used. It has a beautiful stamped scene on both side-plates and the red jeweled end-caps. These are not as common as other trade reels that Bronson made. I don't know if I have seen many in this type of condition. It displays beautifully and really shines! I particularly like the scene on these reels, different from many of the others you see on Bronson's trade reels. Vintage Hiawatha 6565 Level Wind Baitcasting Reel Neat Collector's Reel. Auction is for a vintage Hiawatha 6565 Levelwinding baitcasting reel. Reel is a real neat one that has a nice intricate scenic engraving on each side. It was made by Bronson for Gambles Hardware& Auto Supply. But does not feature the Bronson name. Looking at this it is hard to see the difference between some other Bronson reels, which makes this a real nice collectors item. Overall it is in very good shape with some light scratches mainly along the edges. Also, some of the hardware looks to have been tooled. Operationally it spins smoothly, and works great except for the spool drag adjustment is very hard to turn. You would have a tough time using this one out on the lake because of that but it won't make a difference up on your shelf! Here is an outstanding Brooklure no. 48 reel for sale. This one is very very nice! It works so smooth. Has a strong clicker, good level wind and pawl. It has one of my favorite designs found on Bronson reels in the beautiful leaf pattern. The reel comes with the bail-wire across the front and very nice red jeweled end-caps. It is close to being perfect but does show slight wear which can hopefully by seen in the photos. I think it would be hard to upgrade from this one. It really shines and displays nicely. Doesn't appear to have been used much if at all over the years. It will make an excellent addition to a Bronson reel collection or an ornate reel collection. Vintage Belmont Fishing Reel, Engraved, Bronson, Nice!!
Here is a vintage Belmont fishing reel for sale! This reel is very nice with the ornate scene stamped on the side-plates and matching stamped crank handle. It shows very well for its age but does have a couple signs of use. The main wear can be seen on the top pillar(speckling) and a spot on the top side of the head-plate. Otherwise the reel shows beautifully and displays nicely as seen in the photos. It cranks well. And has a good level wind and pawl. The clicker is very weak however. The foot is stamped'39 indicated a year of 1939 for production. Produced by Bronson Reel Co. it is a very nice trade reel! Should be a nice one for the collection. Up for grabs is a very hard to find Thunderhawk reel made by Bronson Reel Co! This was thought to have been a salesman reel for Bronson. It has the beautiful fishing scene stamped on the side-plates. Along with the red-jeweled end-caps. The scene found on the Thunderhawk reel is not one that I have seen on any of the other Bronson made trade reels that I know of. I have only seen a few of these over the years. The reel has no numbers on it to mark a model, although I have seen two versions of the Thunderhawk. It certainly should be a wonderful reel to pick up for the Bronson collector! The reel works well, has a good strong click and cranks smoothly. Here is a beautiful Brooklure No 48 reel for sale! It has been quite a long time since I have seen one of these nice Brooklure reels listed on eBay. This reel is in excellent condition and works very smoothly! This was a trade reel for Bronson reel co. It has the gorgeous detail on both side plates which can be found on other higher end Bronson made reels. It has excellent jeweled end-caps and displays wonderfully as seen it the photos. Hairline scratches and soiling which is to be expected of something of this age. This one has the excessive age old soiling on the tail plate. Vintage Thunderhawk Reel, Bronson, Engraved, Hexagonal End-Caps, Nice!!
Here is a very nice Thunderhawk fishing reel made by Bronson Reel Co. It has the very nice engraved side-plates. Matching crank handle, and scrolling along the head-plate. This is not a very common reel and hard to find in this nice of condition. The hexagonal end-caps really stand out on this one making it a beautiful reel for a collection and display. Awesome Great Lakes LW ABL Casting Reel in Box. Made by Bronson for Sears. Reel looks and works like NEW! Well. The knobs are kinda tight, but they trun freely. Flick the crank and watch the line guide zoom back and forth. Runs like melted butter. With looks to match! Produced in 1938ish. 38 stamped on foot. Identical fishing scene stamped on both tail plate and head cap. What's neat about this design is that both Ocean City and Bronson used this fishing scene for Sears. I don't know if they shared dies or each had their own sets. Comes in 2 piece box which shows some wear and soiling. In my experience, its often the case that the model number on the box rarely matches the model number on the reel when you are dealing with the older Bronson trade reels. Awesome old JC Higgins 532.3101 LW ABL Casting Reel in Original Box. Made by Bronson for Sears. Recently serviced! Looks and works great! Works like new. So i am not going into mechanics. The only issue with this reel, like many Bronson's from this time period, is the knobs"shrunk" onto the pins and they don't turn. Cosmetically, small"scuff" top edge of head cap. Hardly noticeable in person, but its there. And why I cant pull the trigger on"mint" Come sin original 2 piece box. Box is sturdy, showing some wear/soiling. Puncture in box top. Scarce Old Vintage Fishing Rod Reel - BRONSON MOHAWK COLLECTIBLE - Engraved
Reel needs some servicing. It clicks a bit but I think that's due to a screw cap missing on opposite side of the handle. I don't know much about the details but it seems like an easy fix.
