Some spots to the spool, seat, crank and star. Plates are in good shape with some normal wear from age. In all a good looking vintage reel as seen exactly in photos. The super-sized and zoom-able photos show the reel for your close inspection. This Ocean City BAY CITY does work well and all function is there. C ranks quite nice and has a good solid anti-reverse. Drag has very narrow range as most old OC'd do but works when turned all the way down. It has a good working clutch and goes in/out gear well. Freespool works very good and smooth and has a good working bait clicker and clicker switch. Some cosmetic wear but a good solid vintage collectable piece in good working shape ready to fish or collect alike. The reel has some corrosion on the columns and other chrome plate parts but is in good working condition. Vintage Ocean City fishing Reels Model No. 112. Made in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Excellent condition with original box, instructions and tag. The reel has automatic free spooling and a star drag. It has Oilite self-lubricating bearings and no cracks or damage. It appears to have seen little use and the braided line is still on it. Box states that it holds 250 yards of line. Comes with instructions and the original tag. Great for any collector, or continued use. All external parts of this reel are chromium plated. There is no rust and only very minor signs of oxidation. You won't find the 112 as complete in its original state. Great find with great price!

Pennsylvania I believe this is either a#165 400 yard reel or a#167 600 yd. reel. Cannot find numbers This has a star drag and turns freely Needs a good cleaning. But I don’t know enough about this and would be afraid of doing damage if I messed with it. great vintage reel. The medallion is missing. But in compaing this reel against the Ocean City reels, it is almost identical so I am guessing this is one also. This reel has brass knobs, line level and screws Has a bakelite casing with a few scratches and a nick, but no cracks. the handle is gray plastic or could be bakelite too. This was my father's who passed a few years back, so I am not sure of all the features. I am willing to ship internationally according to the regulations of each destination country. Up for sale is a vintage Bay City fishing reel made by Ocean City Manufacturing Company in the USA. I purchased a large lot of vintage and antique fishing lures and reels from an estate sale. The reels are all in fair to good working condition. They all could use a cleaning and oiling. And some have minor wear and tear and slight corrosion or rust. Due to the fact that these are not my personal collection of reels, I will say that some of the reels may potentially have been repaired in the past or have some not original parts. Vintage Ocean City Bay City Trolling Fishing Reel Number 113 with Box
Up for bid is a vintage Ocean City No. 113 Bay City Deep Dean and Lake Trolling Reel. This reel is in good condition but needs a good cleaning. I thought about stripping the line off the reel but thought that it would convey the era that this reel came from so I left it. The box is hardy but shows lots of worn edges and corners. This reel also has the original parts list inside for both the model 113 and 112. Made in the USA.
