Also included is parts list for the 1600[model A] reel but this has a 2&1/2" tear on it.Also is a pamphlet on Heddon"pal" reels and lures. The box is worn and has stains but works well.The reel works like new because thats what it is brand new although showing very minor rust as these were cadium plated. A nice thing to look at.

Here is a vintage Ocean City no. 1581 Level Wind reel box with the original parts list and repair insert.the box is good but has an old label some put on it and two spots where tape was once on it. Otherwise normal wear for its age. The reel has a little rust on the mounting plate and I believe someone has replaced the reel nut at one point with one that really doesn't tighten enough to hold the handle tight. This auction is for 2 vintage casting reels. Both work but both have surface rust and need a good cleaning. The small one is marked Ocean City and has the number 1581 and says as a motto the best in fishing reels. Tiny chip from one of the white crank knobs. I think it would clean up pretty well. Line still on reel. The larger reel is marked Mohawk 4 Brothers. This one has a heavy leather line guide. It also has the number 200 under the part that mounts to the rod.
